i found that a small mixture of MMM along with a bunch of Unit you get for that mission, forget what their called because their not in the MP
Just head for the trains, when the trains arent in play, run around and take out any of the other defenses.^^

RAVE - reset bios (take out battery for a few mins) then try again. Re-connect all the motherboard header cables. (personally i just have my power button and usb header connected) If they still dont work your motherbaord might have some button on to press in. Mine has power, reset and clear bios i think

No luck annoyingly. Oh well, it is my own fault. Ordered a new mobo for tomorrow.
 
Sucks dude. It was bad enough when battle net was down last night. If I had a hardware prob I'd be ****ed...

I think me pc has cancer or something.

Yesterday installed catalyst 10.4 over my 10.3s, today i have had 3 crashes when playing so i went back to 10.3s.

Just after goging back I couldnt get into windows, it was just a black screen but i could get to taskmanager. I reset and it wouldnt start, lowered cpu clock from 3.6ghz to 3.4, nothing. Cleaned my radiator out (H50 cooling) and rebooted, nothing.

Then took memory out and back in and it was ok. I tried prime with lower cpu speeds than normal and I got a blue screen. Then managed to get into windows and removed all catalyst drivers and ATI stuff and restarted. I then tried prime again and it was ok at 3.4ghz, also tried a 3v3 game and it was fine, even without any catalyst drivers!

What the hell is going on, computers are so annoying sometimes. Just randomly break for no reason

edit - I got into silver league after my placements, won 3, lost 1, 1 dropped (pc crashed)
 
wow i got into diamond 2 days ago and i havent played since then. i feel like i finished the game :( . i might be burned out though from the high amount of games i played during the first week

Had issues going to 10.7s - windows wouldn't boot. Driver cleaner fixed this for me. First time I have ever had issues with ATI drivers.

Looks like OcUK haven't shipped my motherboard yet - looks like I may be waiting longer :(
 
I've got into silver league after my placement matches, some how :p

W2 L3 & 1 crash. I keep making silly mistakes and my multi tasking skills are pretty pathetic :( Nevermind, onwards and upwards I suppose!
 
Anyone knows if you can make more than 1 account per cd key, like WC3?

Or is it bound to your bnet account or something?
 
Mine still doesn't work properly- keeps crashing the nvidia drivers... Tried older and newest drivers and reinstalling star craft. Just keeps crashing the drivers after 10mins of play!

With my GTX 285, I have to manually turn the fans to 80% while playing...
Give that a go.

Nvidea drivers turn up the fans too late, I had no idea why Alien Swarm was crashing until I downloaded EVGA precision and looked at the temps :P
 
Completed the game on normal,, and I am now going through it on Hard. It is almost a completely different game.

Has anyone done Zero Hour on hard? How do you complete the achievements? I was planning on going back to it when my forces are stronger.
 
Woah I had hard time in golden league but now I got a brand new tactic, banshee harassment + marines to guard the base then expand as soon as you can and go battle cruisers, so far on a winning streak with this tactic :D

I'm actually suprised this isn't seen much more pre-platinum, because I'd imagine lots of people will opt for a semi-typical 111, and then you're only a fusion core away from BC's which you can sort of support if you expand quickly. Wouldn't work out in platinum much though :)
 
Some dude just tried that tactic but I managed to get a nydus worm in his base pretty early so spammed zerglings through it. gg :)

Still on practice though but I guess you'd get an even quicker harvest harass on proper maps as the nydus worm isn't really needed?
