This AGAIN. Mules are not OP. Zerg have the option to mass make 10+ drones at a time, protoss can chrono probes out quickly and make a clear worker advantage. Mules give terran a short term eco boost.

These arguments about imbalanced/overpowered units are so boring.SC2 is a great game,enjoy it as it is or quit playing,simple as that

Having such a losing streak. Hovering at silver rank 1/2 on 4v4 and cannot break into gold, driving me spare.

Admittedly only to Silver but still, so far my greatest SC2 achievement
Annoyingly, the game I got promoted after was against a 2v2(gold)/3v3(bronze)/4v4(bronze) player doing his 1v1 placement matches. At the end of the game (19 minutes), he had built 29 probes.
I feel bad for him.

Is this the team liquid tournament thing? Might give it a go but can't play the first one which is the 8th i think.
How does it work? Do they just pair you up randomly and you play a BO3 then send replays in?
Never played in a tournament but really like this game! might give it a go

recently booted up my new pc for the first and obviously one of the first things i did was attempt to install sc2. to no avail! everytime i reach the patch updater it just keeps downloading/installing the same patch over and over again, and no option to continue/play appears. has this happened to anyone else? it is really frustrating and i have no idea what's going on, it never happened to me before and i have already uninstalled and reinstalled twice.
any thoughts guys?

tip for anyone, if you ever play a team game with a guy called thekiller - leave immediately, in 15 mins he managed to create 6 units...yep 6.

There's a lot of patches you know. The list of notes always shows the most up to date patch, so it looks like you're downloading the new one over and over but you're not. Just leave it for a while.

haha, i know. i've played since release day and never had any issues which patches. it was actually the same content being installed over and over again, but some bug was preventing the game from initialising. strange. blizz customer support were actually very helpful tho, and after a little messing around in safe mode i got it sorted. thanks anyway

hmm, were they something good like broodlords? 6 of those at 15 mins in to the game ain't 'too' bad. i'm guessing it was more like zealots or marines tho

trust me he was the worst player i have ever seen, produced hyrdalinks and did nothing whilst we constantly attacked and built up a massive force, yet he always had just 6 of them and all he seemed to be doing was moving his queen around lol.
now any one fancy helping me get good at it ????I still play, got a group of guys I regular with. Some fun 1v1 tourneys and stuff. Waiting on the patch though!

Anyway, just thought I'd update some of you who may have heard about my 3 month long stint at the top of a Platinum division, I just got into Diamond! Possibly only for a day as I think the ladder reset might be tomorrow but I finally did it! Interestingly I'm already a 2200 Diamond, so that's kind of scary, but I've been playing and beating players around that rating consistently lately so hopefully I won't go on some massive losing streak now.
Th3D0n, if you fancy some games add me, Houd.561, I'm far from the best player here but should be able to help someone who's just started playing.

Hey Houd - congrats. The exact same thing happened to me over the holidays and I got promo to 2200 diamond as well! Unfortunately I've gone 2-7 since being promoted so good thing that reset's coming as don't think I can quite hack it at the middle diamond level!
