Oscar Pistorius thread

He'd only been seeing this woman 6 months or so, my wife has been winding me up for 15 years and still hasn't got me anywhere near shooting her.

If I carried a gun, I'd now be serving 10+ years for shooting some muppet or other..... :o. - a good job that I don't have one I guess!!

As for O.P. seems pretty cut & dry to me, domestic argument got out of hand, his girlfriend gets shot 4 times, he's charged with murder & pleads not guilty!!

I hope they throw the book at him.
 
i don't see how he could get off from this - maybe go for manslaughter, but he wont be avoiding jail.

i never liked him tbh - something creepy about him, an underlying aggression - hearing he has a history of domestic violence doesn't surprise me.

Why would she have been the one to have done something? If it's true the police have been out previously for "domestic reasons" it sounds like they simply had a turbulent relationship and this time he lost it.
 
You could tell he was a bit of a nutter because of how he was whinging about the other athletes cheating by having longer blades, and subsequently had to apologise.
 
He was rotten to the core and him committing murder was inevitable. I could tell from watching him run.

She didn't do herself any favours as she was clearly being unfaithful. I can tell from her promo shots.
 
I'm not buying the idea that he thought it was a burglar and just sprang into action... If he didn't have a clear view of her then managing to shoot her in the head would be a bit unlikely... even in the dark her outline is going to be obviously feminine... would seem a bit more like he shot at her (hitting her in the arm) then shot her at close range in the head to finish her off. The police have been quite clear they think it was murder... wonder if there is a bullet hole in the floor or at a low point in the wall close to where she was found.

It's more the proven link between getting angry and complaining over nothing, and then getting angry to the point of shooting someone over something that was not worth shooting someone over, ie. overreacting.

I'm sure you were clever enough to work that out all by yourself though and didn't need me to point it out.
