Worth the buy, or should i purchase something else?

Currently has standard bulbs, and i'm looking to upgrade them but can't retro-fit HID's are they are not projector lenses!

So... i'm looking for the next best thing.

Suggestions?

Phil

Is there a noticeable difference, then?

I alwasy read about people buying them and them being "considerably better" but i often wonder if its just the placebo effect..

One of the best mods i ever did in terms of lighting was to 'wash' the insides of my headlamps, i then added the osram equivalent of 6-7 years ago, what a bloody difference:eek:

Well worth it Phil, most of the time dipped beam is fine but should you need it put main beam on and prepare for the road to be lit up like a football stadium in front of you.

Excellent bulbs which were actually brighter than a HID kit I retro fitted to my standard headlamps!

Goes to show!

Nope, I changed one side first and compared. Seems to be a big difference - much whiter and brighter. Worth the cash imo.
did the same, and i'd without a doubt say i found there was a very noticable difference over the standard bulbs in my car, i certainly didnt feel it was money wasted, was quite happy with my purchase:D

I'm running the Osram +90% bulbs in my car and they were a noticable improvement over the previous +50s. The light is much whiter as well as brighter.

Got a pair of the nightbreakers for my Accord and for around the 13 notes I paid for them I have to say they were worth it.

put some catz bulbs in mine the other day (JDM-tyte y0 :p), dipped beam is hardly any different apart from the colour allthough I must say that they really light up cats eyes in the road much better than standards. Main beam is a lot better though, really good improvement, this must be where they get the +50% marketing figures from :p

I have Philips X-Treme power in mine and they are alright. Got to admit I didn't see a massive improvement over the Philips +50% bulbs.

I want to get headlights that can light up the road like this
