Osram Nightbreakers?

Gah, mine arrived today but I was out :(

Will pick them up tomorrow and with any luck, have them fitted - have to remember to take before/after piccys too.

Scort.

fitted mine yesterday

unfortunately the comparison pics came out rubbish as there was blazing sun shining doh!

but went out for a drive last night and WOW! compared to the stock oem ones that were in my car before, these are AWESOME!

waiting on the Philips side bulbs now, they should be here today

for anyone in the market for some bulbs, buy the night breakers you wont regret it

Did you notice a massive difference between the dipped bulbs?

Won't bother asking about the main beam because I know they're godly bright!

sorry this confuses me all the time :D

Car: Avensis

Laymen's: main lights have 3 settings

1. Sidelights
2. Main lights (night driving)
3. Beam

The sidelights i haven't changed yet, as i am waiting for some new Philips bluevisions to arrive

the Main lights is what i was saying above, very very nice :)

the beam on my car also uses a separate bulb! i think another H7, i didn't realise until yesterday, i dont think i will be changing them, as i hardly use Beam so they can stay the same

i did notice an overall wider spread of white light when driving last night

hth mate

I've ordered some Osrams, will be fitting at the weekend, I hope they're better then the bulb I currently have, they're pap

Arrived next day as requested...:D

Well it took a good 45 mins to fit. Hardly any room to work with and incredibly fiddly considering you can't let anything touch the glass of the bulb. Was considering taking out the air intake/filter at one point but got there in the end. Sidelights do have a slight blue tint but can't wait till tonight to see the difference...hopefully. :)

2nd set arrived today, and a free set of Philips Blue Vision sidelight bulbs too to apoligise for the mistake the first time round, which i can put in the GF's Corsa :)

Will fit them probably next weekend, in no rush as the car is still not on the road yet, won't be until April now, glad they have arrived though :)

anychance of some pictures of the sidelight bulbs

im trying to consider whether its worth getting some of the white LED sidelights on ebay. But nobody has any decent pictures of them in a car.

I always find that LED's only look right with HID/Xenon kits, as they are too bright for conventional halogens. The bonus being with the Philips Blue Visions sidelights is that they are painted blue enough to appear white when they are turned on :)

Are the bluevision side lights any good then? I think I've got 3 pairs of these lying around and have never bothered to use/fit them.

Installed mine, and the bluevision sidelights earlier. Back to sorting out audio problem now....will test out the lights tonigh though :p

they're to go on a Mondeo ST220 with factory xenons.

In that case, http://www.ultraleds.co.uk is your friend!!

Just fitted my Osrams, didn't bother with 50/50 shots but i did turn them on to make sure they all worked, bright though :)

/edit - Specifically these. Bought them a couple of times before and they really are a nice, bright white light.

Got em installed, dont seem too white to me, the sidelights are nice, they are extreme white ones, I forgot to get a before pic though!! DOH! will get a pic up later of said bulbs.

Boo hoo :(

Just went to fit mine, after picking them up this morning, and my bulbs are actually H7 and not the H4 I had expected :(

Serves me for clicking on the first google hit for the Kawasaki part number, guess I'll have to order some H7s now then.

Scort.
