OSX El Capitan

Anyone else notice since 10.11.1 that hot corners no longer work for Screensaver?
I use cmd-top left to put the display to sleep and that still works for me.

Any one else having wifi problems?

Never had any problems on previous versions but with El Capitan it's has been rubbish, constantly looses connection/speed

Using a later 13 15" rmbp

Late-2013 rMBP 15" here. No issues.

It glitched for a couple of days earlier in the week, but that was down to Sky suddenly enabling IPv6 and not restarting the router.

Anybody had any problems updating with a Bootcamp partition ?

I'm avoiding updating as I'm scared my partition will disappear !! but the itch to upgrade is killing me :)

Office is horrible on it, 2011 and 2016. Constantly freezing, and if one Office product crashes, they all seem to. Is this the same problem as mentioned above?

Anyone else struggling with Xcode 7 on it?

Seems to have screwed up all the settings and now I can't get it to reinstall :(. Downloads fine then gets stuck at "installing".

Really wish they wouldn't insist on the latest Xcode even when targeting previous versions :(.

Starting to lose my mind this project is way overdue.

I tried online and using the 7.1.1 dmg from the developer site.

In the end I rebooted (having not 'successfully installed') and it's 7.1.1.. seems there's something odd about it..

I agree - the apple cycling is actually causing a large amount of issues in terms of managing and getting higher costs and delays due to it. I just started using Storyboards last night.. nicer for the IB but still..

The mrs is moaning about FaceTime loosing connectivity with the camera. It's fine after a reboot.. but some point it stops working and the first time you know about it is no image on a call with the mother in law!

Think that's a bug..

Wont lie I just downloaded a Yosemite VM image and I will use that until they've fixed whatever is causing it.

Got absolutely zero console output and my beloved command drag to link up IBs is dead :(. On the plus side I can actually write code now :D.

Something is badly wrong when a VM runs better than a native install :D.

Edit: and I have no "undo" but it works :D.

Ive had nothing but issues with El Capitan. Constant bluetooth issues when using the magic trackpad/wireless keyboard.....SD reading issues....random crashes/performance spikes. Seems like every version of OSX and iOS gets buggier and buggier. Shame as the reason I switched to Mac was for the reliability and ease of use.

OS X 10.11.2 update is now live in the App Store

The OS X El Capitan 10.11.2 update improves the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac.

This update:

-Improves Wi-Fi reliability
-Improves the reliability of Handoff and AirDrop
-Fixes an issue that may cause Bluetooth devices to disconnect
-Fixes an issue that prevented Mail from deleting messages in an offline Exchange account
-Fixes an issue that prevented importing photos from an iPhone to a Mac using a USB cable
-Improves iCloud Photo Sharing for Live Photos

Didn't fix anything for me. Still have massive bluetooth lags on magic mouse and the moment I mount something across the network finder starts beachballing every few seconds. 12 cores, 24 threads, 32Gb of ram, primary on raid of 4 SSDs and it's like watching myself use a mac via remote session somewhere on the outskirts of rural Asia.

With enough positive feedback I might update at the weekend, still on Yosemite here on a 4 month old iMac.

Looking at posts like above put me off though, how can it be that bad:confused:
