Other hobbies?

Photography and playing guitar, used to run an open mic until about 8 years ago. Looking to start playing again.

Tough to find time with wanting to spend time with our 3 year old.

Yeah, passed my RAE in 1982 and still playing radio all these years later. Congrats on passing the Foundation and going on to Intermediate while it’s fresh in your mind is a good thing.

Starting to learn to play golf. Got some second hand clubs a little while ago but they feel a bit small for me so I'm saving to replace some of them and get some lessons.

Was put off it for a while as my local golf course is a real dump with a proper dirty range full of charvas chavs on the wacky... but we're moving house to a much nicer area with two decent clubs with nice ranges (and a third exclusive, private boys club that I dont want to think about :D).

In the meantime I've been walking down the canal system most days recently, feeding the waterfowls and watching the chicks grow :) lots of Canadian geese, mallards and coots around.

Getting back into reading actual physical books after years of reading on iPads and listening to audio books.

Photography, though I need to start taking a camera with me on walks rather than just capturing the local wildlife and plants.

Air rifle shooting, though my enthusiasm faded when I realised just how “tinkered with” the air rifle I purchased from an acquaintance was during the fitting of a decent scope and mount to it. Having put a covered shooting position together and built a target holder, I will be giving the rifle a go just to see how it groups, but I suspect the new scope will be moved to someone brand new in due course.

Climbing in all it's forms (bouldering, trad, sport, ice, mountaineering).

Game dev is my profession but I also do it for fun?

That's enough for me! I'm not sure going to gigs/festivals counts as a hobby..
