MDF may be easy to work with but try hard not to breathe in the dust. Current theory is that it's not much better than asbestos. They won't cut it to size in some places for that reason. Wear a mask at least!
Jesus...thanks for the heads up...might avoid that one then.
Small update for y'all. So today was D day for installation and I forgot I had my dog booked in for a appointment at the groomers. Raced her down there, got back and typically missed my delivery of the 30m cable. So it's getting picked up in the morning from the post office. So tomorrow while the misses is at work i'll be able to tinker away in the man cave getting set up for a gaming day with my mate in there on Sunday.
Little list of stuff I still want to complete in there in no particular order.
1) Coving - Some sort of cover between plasterboard and ceiling.
2) Plaster the full outhouse once it's all been boarded out.
3) Plasterboard over the concrete ceiling (dib dab the boards on and use plasterboard.
4) Lighting - some sort of spots or LED lighting
5) Level off concrete flooring near doorway
6) Some sort of grill to cover the drain cover
7) Flooring throughout
8) custom build desk
9) custom built shelves etc in the storage area for kids bikes, scooters, tools etc.
10) Plenty of gadgets added to make complete man cave.
11) Full size tower (currently using Cosair 250D)
12) New Gfx card
13) Webcam for streaming my games
15) Some sort of video software / hardware for uploading of videos.
16) Blind / Curtain for sun glare and also for people looking in.
17) Possible upgrade on alarm in there, maybe even separate alarm system as currently its tied in with the house alarm, which when movement inside there it sounds on the panel. Which is sort of handy I guess...
Pretty comprehensive list once I started thinking about it.....haha.
Overall I think it's coming along nicely. Get paid next Friday so depending on cash flow possibly tick a few more of those of the list.
