Outstanding Logitech

Logitech have done it for me with replacments / Faluty products.

4 Years ago i bought the MX revolution off Dell for £45 or so.
The mouse has now got problems that it will studder or freeze ( less than a second) across the screen on both computers, the receiver is less than 3ft away aswell. This has been going on for a month now, but have stuck it some how.

Mouse is also worse for wear as the plastic coating has came off on the right hand side grip.

So when this happened, i contacted them either Monday or Tuesday, today i receive an email for me to confirm my home address, contact number etc.
They are sending me out a replacement, but as the mx revolution has been discontinued, they are sending me out a brand spanking new, Performance Mouse MX.

They have top quality mice, keyboards and speakers, But most of all for me top quality customers service and guarantee. :D

Awwwww. Mine did exactly the same, I threw it out about 6 months ago :(

Logitech have the most amazing CS I've ever dealt with.

I bought a Logitech Dinovo years back and the MX900 was a real pain, so they sent me an MX1000. I then kept experiencing problems with the keyboard and they sent me Dinovo Edge!

Yes their top end products are pricey but I'll always keep buying their products as long as their CS stays this good.

I'm gonna have to raise something...see if I can get a new mouse, my MX700 is iffy from time to time.

My G5 mouse stopped working a few days ago so i phoned up Logitech and expecting the usual poor customer service, but i am amazed by the level of customer service! Straight through to a pleasant advisor who went through a few questions and trouble shooting the quickly agreeing it was broke and had sorted out a replacement too the newer G500 mouse i believe in the space of 10minutes, quality customer care.

My expeirience wasnt that great, basically got a harmony remote with some malfunctioning buttons.

Reported it to them, and the answer was tough, 3 months out of warranty, you can have 50% off another remote though. Problem here is that their site prices are a good 40% more expensive other internet outlets.

I rejected their offer, again told tough, rejected again, one more round of tough, sent an email direct to a senior vp there and voila...no problem sir, upgraded new remote on the way to you, only catch no warranty, so overall not too bad a result but more painful than it should have been.

Just got a new Performance MX mouse to replace my MX Revolution free of charge. Which is great as I have a glass desk - my mouse mat was thrown out on day one :D.

I am gob smacked. My G25 wheel was playing upa little but still working mostly. Guess what? I paid £125 for mine 2 years ago and they going to replace it with a G27 wheel!!!!!!!

Logitech are GODS!!!!!!

i have an mx revoulution too, over 3 years old. it has faulty hyperscroll.

logitech are sending me a Performance Mouse MX free of charge.

I love logitech.

Same except mine wouldn't hold charge very long and the right hand side had started pealing.

My performance MX arrived today (unfortunately it came with a US power adaptor). Gotta say I prefter the old Revolution! Why did they remove the thumbwheel and make the middle (one touch search) button so annoying to push?

edit: Seems the Performance MX doesn't have free scroll/SmartShift either :(

edit2: Why can't setpoint 6 find pics for my MX Rev & Performance MX? It found my MK300 keyboard & mouse ok..

I'm being asked to send my faulty logitech product back to logitech. They will arrange free pick up from my house, but i can't get time off work. I've tried reasoning with him, but he won't have it.

I've got proof of purchase. I sent it him. It's a G19 still in warranty.

The best thing is, i had a response off another customer service representative saying a new keyboard has been ordered. They didn't ask for any proof or anything. I was expecting an automated UPS tracking number as promised in the email, but it never came. Instead this ****** Kadir Birduman (who dealt with papalazaru's case) has taken over the case and is demanding all sorts of proof.

First he asked for a photo of the front and back with a piece of paper stating the incident number, then he asked for it to be collected from my house.

The whole thing is a ****** nightmare to be honest. The guy is a right **** He doesn't know his ***hole from his earhole.
First he said "We would like to arrange a free of charge pick up of your product." and now he's saying "You will need to arrange date and time with UPS "

Surely if they are arranging the pick up, then a time and date will be set when they are arranging it all?

My guess is they have known issues that are believeable instantly and "expected" and hence these just get a replacement. Then they get a new one thats not been heard before and want the item back to investigate. I am guessing your problem is new and they want to be able to see if they can identify what caused the fault.

They wouldn't replace my MX Revolution when I called them about it last year. It was about a month out of warranty when the buttons started to click multiple times with each press.
It's sat in a drawer now. Maybe I'll try it again.

Logitech are top when it comes to warranty

No they aren't. There are more complaints than there are good stories. I've had one good experience, and one terrible. I'm going through the terrible experience as we speak. Truly awful experience actually, it's like talking to a bunch of awkward tossers on the phone
