I've got to say Spie does seem to time things right. Wasn't OcUK setup around 1999? That's just when the internet really started taking off. And PC gaming is certainly in decline and I suspect component sales going with it. So it's a great time to get out.

While I hope the forums stay the same, or similar, more importantly I wish good luck to the staff and hope their jobs stay ok.

Glad the forums aren't changing, only found this place a few years ago and I don't know what I would do without it :( I would actually have to talk with my missus :( DON'T INFLICT THAT UPON ME!!!!!!! :(:(:(
 
I think we need to arrange a support group focusing on withdrawal symptoms and how to integrate into real life in the event that the forums are shut down (no matter how slim)

I'm already feeling sick :(

Agreed, no need to buy all this flash hardware now, no one really benchmarks any more compared to the old, and we don't need this flash hardware to play on crappy console ports.

The company bought OCUK because they are successful and that success is largely due to their staff so why would anything happen to them? And why should change happen?
