Generally in a takeover it's unfortunately crucial to keep employees out of the loop until it's complete to keep publicity as low as possible.

im going to presume if threads have been deleted by dons (a lot are staff) they know whats going on

Can't see the forums or Members market going anywhere tbh.

They would be absolute nuts to get rid of these forums. I know we are but a small percentage of the overall OcUK purchasing population, but we are loyal and generally a helpful bunch.

The last accounts I have for overclockers uk was the april 2008 accounts where it made nearly £3.7m in profit. Paid £3.4m in dividends.

I wouldn't be surprised if the staff have known about it for weeks, the internal rumour mill will be going round.
