I guess a well done to Spie is in order. Having a business go from nothing to a sale of around 50mil is quite something, and shows that with a lot of work, a good approach and timing it can be done.

Just hope too much doesn't change, and if it does I guess change isn't always for the worse. As long as the forum stays blue I am happy :D

I've heard they're closing down GD section of the Forums.

Where did everyone got the 50m euro figure from btw?

Doesn't it say n/d next to the value figure and the company's value is only estimated at less than 50m euro (£42m)?

lol what? Why would 'Germans' care what goes on on the forums.

They've bought the company, a successful company that makes money. They want to carry on making money, the company works fine as it is, has superb connections and relationships with various channels. Why would they want to mess that up? Like I said they've got some very good distribution and wholesale contacts, something they're probably want to expand in the UK, and given OcUK recent expansion to business market it makes sense. Don't see why they'd get rid of any staff at OcUK especially the purchasing team members.

Any who enough doom and gloom, does anyone at OcUK have enough charisma as this guy? :D :D

What is it exactly that you do here?

Why is everyone going on about the forums? They are part of the company, they won't be going anywhere. I expect very little will change externally.

Anyway congrats Spie! What's next? :)

as long as these new guys dont turn the shop into some kind of computing pound stretchers. the best thing about ocuk is u can get speacialst products that no other online shop would stock.
