Overclockers UK Grand Opening!! Saturday 10th November

Well if they tried selling them in the OcUK Member's Market, they would get banned for profiteering out of second hand goods. It's lame, but in a sense whoever it was hasn't done anything really wrong.

Tbh I can't see the problem, that's just what some people do - let's face it there's a fair bit of money to be made doing that.

The only reason I want to sell mine is to trade/buy another 7970 that actually fits a waterblock. :(.

You bought yours and found that it wouldn't fit your block though Addicted.

This guy clearly bought the stuff to sell on at a profit.

Already discovered a DGM 27" & Radeon HD7970 from the same seller up on ebay right now. Burton upon Trent which isn't that far away.

You should be ashamed of yourself tbh. The majority on here wanted a card to enjoy, not to make money out of.

Some people

I see he has the z-box up there was well. Flogging the games bundle for £50 too. I have to say I strongly disagree with those practices.

people will do anything to make a quick buck, there are no rules saying that he can't do that, but obviously from a moral pov it's upsetting for those who genuinely wanted to use those products for themselves.

Probally someone who lurks on the deal websites, spotted it and took advantage, probally doesn't even use the forums, or shops at OcUK normally.

Would be nice in the future to post some special deals for people with say 10,000+ posts on the forums, or people who have shopped at OcUK for x amount number of years, or spent 5K+ in the last whatever years... like a loyalty bonus.

Where do ocuk benefit doing either? They don't, because people who have 10k posts or £5k spent wont be leaving any time soon. Having a store opening that anyone can come to, raises awareness, gains new customers and gives loyal customers a chance to get some great deals.

I see it all the time especially by some of those who are members and lurk hukd's and there is nothing that can be done. However, I do see some people who create fake accounts on ebay just to mess up their auctions. :D

Well I can easily swing this around as a customer, where do I benefit if I spend all my money here, and posting here through all the years, I don't.

I'm sure their are loyal customers, but having spent years as a buyer for a company, I do tend to shop around myself, and grab as much discounts, rebate as possible lol. :)

I dont see whats wrong with someone using it to make money, they queued before the people who didnt get them.

People need to wind there knecks in.

The fact someone has linked to a "competitor" on ebay without getting into trouble is more disgusting than someone selling somthing they bought from a shop.

To all the people complaining about OCUK handing out vouchers for the special deals please stop moaning . The fact that people where there earlier then you made them want the deal more and OCUK identified that . Nearly early business I know in the Republic of Ireland having a massive first come first served sale on a list will hand out vouchers to the people who showed up first because it combats the problem of somebody showing up 5 mins. before the shop opens . So OCUK did the right thing and your complaints are not one bit valid . You will also get the whole thing of people showing up to make a profit on thinss being sold at a very low price it always happens .
