Overwatch

well i had a very interesting time last night.

I decided to do my placements on my main account (solo queue) and the following happened.

There were hardly any voice comms chat.

No raging or tilting.

I ended up with 9 wins 1 draw, the last game was a draw.

This placed me in plat so i actually went up compared to season 3. Interesting thing is I did my placements on my alt account and that got placed in silver haha, although i did this late last saturday night so it was very toxic and troll filled.
 
Just going to repeat again - can people please use the discord channel if possible.

I think we would all benefit from playing together more often etc.
 
Can't win with some people.

Playing Ilios map, I play a decent symmetra on this map, we win 3-0, never really in doubt. Sheild gen up quickly, 28 kills, silver elims etc - Dogs abuse at the end of the game from 2 players on my team for playing as sym despite an easy win......some people are beyond help!

sucks doesn't it that's why i cant believe what happened last night. There were even some crazy pics and no one raged just the odd message asking them to change if it wasn't working. I just installed discord so should be on tonight.

What skill rankings are you guys ?

I have one account at 1320 :( haha and one at 2576

I peaked at 3725 last season but I don't think I'll get that high again since I only really have interest in playing Mccree these days.
 
Season 2 and 3
4K Epic Settings Vsync on (60FPS) - I was always wondering why I'm so louzy at the game, 3 months full of frustration.

New Season
4K Epic Settings Vsync off (~140FPS) - I'm doing 100SR+ gains each day on Bastion/Solider/Pharah/Dva

I think this is the single most important factor of actually being somewhat decent. Turn off Vsync or lower your settings to get 100FPS+ (thank me later :p).

Interesting, i have same settings and 4k res like you. I always capped my fps to 79 because of having a 60hz montior. I might unlock the fps tonight and see how it goes :)

I always had screen tearing on other games that's why I was reluctant on setting Vsync off. I'm upgrading to Ryzen and wanted to see what FPS I get on the games I play with my current system. Seems I have struck gold :D

No screen tearing whatsover for some reason on Overwatch.

I got the 1800x installed this weekend,its great apart from the mobo issues haha... I tend to use action to record my overwatch plays... Bit worried if I unlock the fps and record at 1080p at the same time it might melt my fury x's x2 haha.
