Overwatch

I hate Junkrat, I can use him but feel he's a massive explosion at close range. Now he has two bombs it's made him OP IMO, what really puts me off is he doesn't suffer any damage from ether his bomb or his canon.

Now, I know his bomb is part of his character so he can projectile himself everywhere & inflict damage (I can deal with that) but he should take damage from his own main canon !

Here's why I believe he should take damage, D.va does close up from her (newly added) rockets, soldier does from his Helix & Pharah does from her main (any others please feel free to add).

I also think his martyrdom drop should only drop what he has left in the barrel, not a full load drop even though he's shot all his load (pardon the pun) :)

Quite right, plus if you play any squish heroes he throws a bomb at you and insta detonates, youre dead. I think there should be a minor arming delay added in.

100% agree with this, He's such a OP char if played correctly, However I ain't come across any really good Junkrats.

lol - played well today (from my point of view) - lost 200SR......haha

Can't buy a win - loads of Attacking Torbs recently. Some are great - others are a waste of time.

Is this still populated? Price sounds very tempting. Will mostly just be playing unranked, not sure I'd have the commitment to go for ranked.

It's one of the biggest games on pc they still sell millions of copies.

If you do get it I would recommend playing some ranked when you get to a high enough level as it's a lot of fun and a lot more organized than quick play.

If you have an AMD card you might wanna give the game a miss until they fix rendering device lost error.

Yes, its very good for the price (at the moment). Being a Dad & only having a few evening hours its great for a few games with mates or on you're own. Quick play is ok & fun to get used to the games mechanics, map layout & spawn areas. The real fun is competitive as (most, I use this lightly) players play as a team, this is where epic battle end in disappointment (decrees in SR) or high fives all round (increase in SR).

Thanks, picked it up.

Seems like a neat fun game. I didn't realise it would let you change character mid game though, is this feature only available with quick play? I don't do well in the heat of battle, so I'm going along with Mercy for now, then Tracer if we have enough healers.

You can change character on competitive just the same as quick play.

If you get chance have a look on twitch at some of the top ranked people play, it's very impressive to see how good they are.

I use monkey to counter junk rat. He’s also a good counter to genji/tracer/most healers.

He’s real bad vs bastion, Orissa, reaper though.

Any new folks wanna add me feel free

Her orb ability makes her very map and team dependant imo. If your team and the enemy team is very split in open areas she's not great. In enclosed spaces where things are more confined however, she can be very strong providing you're not heavily targeted. A damaging orb in a small space plus the top up heals across multiple people is unrivaled as default abilities I think, especially given you can move out of harms way so easily.

yeah - volskaya industries was the map. Bouncing the orb all over the show! Also got a quad kill on 2nd point with ult!

Much stronger on 2nd point. If you can get the orb into the corridor bouncing round by enemy spawn the damage is pretty mad if you can catch a few running to cap point. No doubt it's even come off a wall and got stuck in the tiny space/room with the health pack and finished someone off as well.

I've yet to play much in platinum, but I've noticed a big difference between mid gold and lower plat. The teams seem to actually want to work together and there's less emphasis on carrying hard - games actually feel and are perfectly winnable even if you aren't having a great game. In contrast, mid gold, if you can't dominate the enemy team with multiple gold, prepare for a loss.

Played with a Moira last night at 3750 rank and he had gold elims gold damage I had to pretty much solo heal as ana as our roadhog even out healed him.. I nanoed the Moira every time it was up and he did insane damage.. this was on kings row.
