Overwatch

You guys hear there's talk of a new hero being announced monday... supposedly a support/sniper... Hope it's true as that seems like a class which would be interesting - I'm thinking something like the TF2 medic crossbow (you can shoot long range but also shoot a healing shot at team-mates...)

Probably the reveal will be tied into the Overwatch Coca-Cola event going on at cinemas, which I will be attending.
 
Are Blizzard doing a pre-load for this? HDD space required is 30Gb, so looks like full game will be much larger than the 6.8GB the Beta was?

I think you can pre-load it now, unless my Battle.net is getting mixed up with the beta version.

I'm able to load the game now, but servers aren't up so it doesn't do anything.
 
I thought it was.... nice. A little bit "TF2 with a lot of polish" (but that's kinda how Blizz roll). If it was F2P with a cash shop I'd probably be into that, have a ladder or something with cosmetic fluff won and the market like CS and TF2 with a cut for Blizz. £30 for a "me too" cartoony shooter/moba crossover is a bit too much to spark my interest.

We'll see if/when sales turn up. No interest in the "extra stuff" additions either, I play a bit of SC2 campaign but otherwise have left Blizzard titles alone of late (after a long, long WoW habit).

Edit: Though one important caveat, depends if any friends get deeply into it :D There's a bunch of old WoW folks with whom I've been trying to find something we all care to pick up.
 
i got this game as soon as its was possible to preorder, i was lucky with beta aswell.. love this game.. i loved TF2 untill the decided to change the whole game... can hardly wait for release!

btw, if you got any tesco dubble up vouchers then they are usable on blizzards giftcards, and you can then use that to pay for the game in blizzstore ;) just dubbled up to £40 worth of vouchers to use in blizzard store xD

What is with everyone thinkig this is a 'moba crossover'? There is literally nothing moba about it at all, its a team fortress clone. It has zero elements of moba gameplay lol.
 
Probably should have bought a key for this earlier online as the prices seem to have raised (cant keep up with demand i guess) so went ahead and actually bought a physical copy from the rain forest. £38 for the origins and you get the pre order skin and a couple extra goodies aswell
