Overwatch

Had my best game so far as Lucio (well, since launch, not counting beta). 10.6k healing, 5.6k damage, 35% weapon accuracy, 20 eliminations, 14 objective kills. 0 votes at end :p

Great fun though!
the end of game voting tends to be a bit biased, most vote for their own team or sometimes them selves. I joined a team last night mid way through the game, already lost point A with point B under attack, went 29-1 and still had a streak of over 25 going at the end but only got 1 vote.

was play of the game as well killing 4 of their full hp team solo. instead the healer of the other team won with like 5 votes......

The voting is just a bit of fun though, there's no reward in it.

I tend to vote for healers as they are required for a good composition and most people refuse to play them.

I'm losing my temper at Blizzard, I quit 2 games and I'm still on 75% reduced xp after a further 10 games. Do they think we're all hardcore gamers? Some of us can't glue our selfs to the PC!

If it was a penalty for competitive mode, then sure. But casual quick play?

This is almost game breaking for me. Not happy in the slightest at such a silly penalty system.

Does xp even matter?

leaving your team mid game should be punished in a 6v6 game each round lasts a max of 10 Minutes you have time to finish one game, if you dont start one. or take the penalty

if their was no penalty everyone would leave when they run out of time to get the first point.

Being on 75% xp is game breaking for you? For what? it does nothing.

Decided to try lucio as kept saying no support on the team, and found him quite fun i just dont like the look of the character lol. Seems pretty good though. Had my first crappy messy game, but still enjoyed it i just stuck to my role and the objective either way

Also, am i right in thinking you have to unlock the skin and then the currency to buy it? Or if you get a skin in a crate is that unlocked and purchased automatically, or you can choose to use the currency to buy it? Not sure if that makes sense lol

You get currency from playing/boxes, and you get boxes from leveling up (or buying them with real money). You get the unlocks either by buying them with the currency or from unlocking them when opening a box. When you get skins and other unlocks from boxes they are permanently unlocked and it counts as if you bought it.

I'm really good at getting in the play of the game video (being killed).
I'm enjoying working my way through the heroes and I haven't found that I wouldn't want to play as.
Impressed so far.

Why do you think its ok to just bail on a team and let 5 other players down? It's not as if the games are that long, 5-10 minutes at most, so you're hardly "glued" in place unless you have the attention span of a gnat ;)

It can be frustrating to stick with a terrible game, I think most players would agree. But sometimes things can turn around if players switch heroes and find the right balance. Seen quite a few games turn unexpectedly with a push or last stand. That would never happen if players just leave the moment it starts going a bit pear shaped.

XP penalty is necessary.

I saw something like this when I was having a laggy game... Just had a look for info on it now and apparently.....

Thunderbolt is problems with client to server connectivity and Files/sheets is packet loss.

Oh ok, it's the thunderbolt one I get, and I get it constantly.

Our internet connection isn't that bad, just did a speedtest and got 37mbps up, 10mbps down with a ping of 13 to a London server.
