Overwatch

A lot of Widow players seem to get bad tunnel-vision and are hence pretty easy to take out with Pharah, usually get 1 guaranteed direct hit which you just have to follow up with a 2nd (or a couple of hits of splash-damage)... She can be quite dangerous if/once she notices you firing at her from a distance so you want to be getting up close first...

If there's anything slightly OP about Widow I think it's her Ult... I don't think it's too bad except for the fact that you cannot really anticipate it in any way. I think pretty much every other Ult has a voice-line or sound which makes it clear what's happening (I think hers does too but she's usually too far away to hear it)... So it feels a bit cheap getting killed suddenly as you round a corner and then watching on killcam how you were visible through the wall...

LOL, reminds of WoW. Finished a raid with 20+ people and setup a portal to Dalaran which is just a large hole in the ground. I went through first with my mage and everyone else followed......I enabled Slow Fall, everyone else died.

first day overwatch went live i saw a symmetra put the teleporter in the spawn room. was like playing portal just watching people teleport 5 meters. that was an honest mistake and the next portal was better but the funny thing was seeing them get mentioned at the end of the game. was like teleporter up time 15%, 30 players teleported because people kept going through it for lols XD

In planetside I'd load as many folks up in my Gal then go drop them off in the ocean by locking the vehicle which would then boot them out! Not that I'd do that sort of thing anymore :D

That could well have been me, it was either my first or second day on Overwatch and first go with Symmetra and I had no idea how the teleporter worked, figured you placed an entry and exit.

Obviously I was given some constructive criticism by my teammates instead of just abuse

I've yet to use that char, but it's a perfectly logical mistake. Hell I'd have done the same really.

Urgh I wish this game saved replays and not 'highlights'.

Out of the 6 games I've had today, 5 were utter crap and the 1 victory I had in the 5th game (Kings Row) was an absolutely awesome game where I played it very well and setup the PotG for the Reaper when I froze 3 people on the point with Blizzard and he cleaned it up.
I checked the highlights at the end of the game... my highlight was apparently the very end of the game where we were pushing the cart to victory and out of desperation they had to push in to 6 of us on the cart to stop us and I pretty much held down LMB...

Looking forward to the D.Va patch and seeing how they nerf Mcree.

Been enjoying watching my first Overwatch esports final between Cloud9 and Luminosity. I know, I didn't know there were pro teams already. :)
So cool to see the flow of games at this level, not sure if anyone knows where this will go, t'is pretty exciting.

Do powers/guns get stronger the higher you level? Other people seem to be able to do things to me that I can't do to them.

One example, the amount of time I throw a flashbang at someone and it lands right next to them and has no effect? I try and freeze someone and then seem to just run away unaffected... (I'm only level 10)

I am fully open to the possibility that I'm just not very good :) but it just seems like things happen to me I can't do to others. I'm usually playing against level 20-30 people it seems.

Sorry to break it to you... but it is just you... XP/level means absolutely nothing apart from "this guy right here, he has no life and plays Overwatch constantly"

You don't even get increased XP based on your in-game actions I don't think... just a flat rate based on whether your team won or lost with a little bit of adjustment based on how long the match lasted
