Overwatch

Do people tend to charge up his secondary fire much? Discord orb + left click seems to do plenty of damage anyway really.

Not often... but the main thing the secondary Zen attack is pretty useful for is taking out Bastions and Turrets - if you're firing at a Bastion far enough away you can even throw the discord out *after* you pop out and release the secondary shots - melts him instantly :p

Pretty ridiculous how strong lucio is compared to other supports. If we have a mercy or zen then the it's usually going to be a struggle to win. If I go Lucio then unless the team is super bad we win every time. Feel like I'm gimping the team everytime I play something other than him :/. Rank 64 btw.

It's a bit of a tricky one as in my opinion when Mercy has some free reign she is generally better (map depending). Problem I find though is that you need to babysit Mercy far more than Lucio. He can get out of trouble much easier and isn't anywhere near as susceptible to flankers. Mercy has her dash but as it needs someone to latch onto it doesn't always get you out of danger, and if your team is bunched up it's near useless. Lucio can be generally a better pick as he just needs less babysitting and team work from other players to get more out of. If you're in a great team then Mercy (map depending) might be a better option. They run together great as well when both are picked.

I yo-yo. 61 to 55 back to 61.

I really shouldn't play Reaper in competitive with only 25 minutes on the clock with him. :p

same once i get to 60 i get the most retarded teams..

i was 60 and ranked with 52 53 55 54 and another and they play like ***** its so annoying.. insta derank! i play at stupid times tho 3-4-5am so that prolly doesn't help! :)

solo Q really is awesome and ****** at the same time u can get some awesome games then another game full of *****!

Not to be a killjoy but you really shouldn't.

Quickplay is for learning how to play the various characters, competitive should be for when you feel you know how to play them well.
I disagree. If I was playing at rank 70+ and in stacks then sure. But I'm not I play in average ranks with a bunch of randoms who barely use voice comms.

Plus Quick Play is for... Quick Play... You do not learn how people actually play and respond to heroes in a match with 3 Mei's on the other team for example. :)

This is my experience. Games are either really close or just pure slaughter. No in between! Interestingly that late at night usually the entire team uses voice comms! Which is a nice change.

What happens when someone leaves in the first minutes of a competitive game and that game is cancelled? Do they get a penalty? Feels like they are checking for a good team then bailing with no cost, but I'm not sure how it works.

Suspensions from competitive mode, or if they keep doing it a ban for that competitive season.

Being 60+ puts you in the top 25% of players I believe

60 is more like top 10%. 56 is top 25% I think. There's a third party site that shows the breakdown at most levels, 50 being top 49% from what I remember. It doesn't really mean much though given how team orientated the game is.

Timed ban from what I can tell. I got 30 minutes ban from comp through no fault of my own :(

I tried it, it was terrible. Noticeable sluggishness/fps drops/mouse lag using OBS monitor capture. Although my 2500k is stock.

Thanks, pretty much the same here, even with my little bit more power.

It's the only game I've ever struggled to stream with unfortunately.

I was top 6% at 63 but it changes quite regularly. Mate was top 2% at 70
I have gotten to 64 now. Stable at 62/63.

Seen some games with some rank 70s. My god they just don't miss. A rank 70 Hanzo is astoundingly scary.

Sadly all the higher ranked 60s / low 70s I play with seem to be tanks. Sadly a great tank doesn't help anywhere near as much as a great dps.

Plus I'd echo that Lucio is amazing if you have someone that can use the wall jumps effectively. However Ana with a good shot just heals so much more.
