"Overwhelmingly white" workplace affecting mental health

I find it rather worrying that outwardly normal and reasonable people think like this.

Can't speak for everyone obviously, but if I say walked into an office that was 90% Chinese people, I don't think a thought about it would even enter my head.
Unless I was being shunned/obviously discriminated against for being white or similar.

Sorry to let you know this Raymond, but in the ideology this guy clearly has sympathies for, you'd be classed as "white-adjacent" and not surprisingly is another racist idea (from the USA, and something to do with the over-representation of certain Asian demographics in tech) that means you share some of the privilege that apparently is given out at birth based on skin colour (I'm not mad, I've spent years passively following and observing this stuff from a safe distance).... Lucky you, I guess :D

Well Ive never heard of any here - the BBC on the other hand seems to be a honey pot for them and they seemingly get protected or a blind eye is turned until the inevitable newspaper expose, which is completely at odds with the preachy wokery in their programmes...

What an idiot.

Whoever he is needs to just go find himself another job somewhere else where his 'mental health' can recover and be happy. Until then he can go sit in a corner and cry because I really don't care.

Ultimately it's one person's opinion. It shouldn't rile you up too much.

Yes there are questionable diversity agenads etc but lots of news items are cherry picked to wind people up.

I think it winds me up as it feels like more and more situations like this end up being pandered to and just because one person is vocal about something everything changes. These changes, in my opinion, are generally for the worst.

Look at the mess in the RAF recently due to them trying to hit ridiculous diversity targets. Simply no. Diversity targets are ridiculous. They need to stop existing!

Give the job to the best person for that job, end of discussion. It doesn't matter about their age, sex, race, skin colour, sexual orientation, pronouns bla bla bla.........

I'm guessing 99% of companies would sack you for saying it as a white person, and you wouldn't win a tribunal

Yes it is. But what's riling people up is the fact that if I, for example, as a white guy went public and stated that I didn't feel well at my place of work due to all the ethnics I would be having my collar felt in next to no time. Yet this Muppet gets a free pass. Guess the race card really is a thing.

It seems like everyone treads on eggshells in fear of the media. I say everyone but there are plenty of outspoken people out there, white or not.

Oh it really is where my mother used to work at a solicitors office they regularly used to fume over an asian firm of solicitors they were consistently late, not up to scratch, didn't do the job properly anyone else would hauled over hot coals yet no one could say anything or they'd get the race card played on them they were basically untouchable.

Beyoncee literally looking like a white woman the other day,. no one bats an eye lid strangely
