Pain - whats the worst?

Holy hell on a pushbike is there ANY pain to rival tooth pain? I'd rather have another baby than do this for much longer. Shaking, hyperventilating and no more painkillers for at least two hours, I reckon if I was a fella I'd smile through a kick in the crown jewels right now.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Make me feel better, tell me what hurts more?
I'd have to say nothing is worse, so smile knowing it cant get worse :)
I've had some pretty bad cycling accidents, amoung other things, but toothache is the worst imo.

Oh and not so much excruciating pain, but something really, really scary.

Riding along on my bike, some clever kid (2 years younger than me) runs up alongside me, he didnt like me at the time, so he grabbed my back and the seat of the bike, pushed as hard as he could forwards, BAM, Head straight into a hughe bolt sticking out of a solid metal fence, you know the metal fences that look like this.

\/ = Fence
_ = Gap

HEAD STRAIGHT INTO ONE OF THEM, BOLT STICKING OUT OF THE END

Missed my temple by about an inch, cut all of my head open and it swelled (amazingly, a lump about the size of 1 and a half cricket balls), i was unconcious, in a pile of stinging nettles, wrapped around my bike.

Although the kid ran off after he did it, he had the guts to knock on my door a couple of days later, explain to my dad what happened to his face and apologized.

He gets at least some respect for that

But yeah, random morthoseth fact of the day for you

(And where it happened, there is a slight dent in my head, i can push the skin in on it like you can your temple, its cool xD

Broke my arm in four places and had it set in a temporary plaster for a few hours to stabilise it before they operated. Fast forward 24 hours and they've still not operated and my arm has been swelling up the entire time, despite being morphined up to the hilt I still passed out 4 times due to the pain. One of the nurses had the bright idea of cutting the plaster cast off, if she'd waited another 5 minutes I would have lost my hand

After that my father politely explained to the doctor that they were going to operate now and I was in theater with 45 minutes :D Ended up back there a week later so they could do the job properly

The tooth abcess I had a few weeks back was awful. The worst pain is your toe/finger nails being fully chipped off.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWW.

When I go to the dentist I don't get injections (I'm way to scared of needles) so I if I need a tooth pulled it's absoloute agony :( .

I'd say emotional pain hurts more though as there's nothing that can fix it except time.

Being kicked in the ribs by a 16.3hh irish draught, that hurt a lot! :(
Also falling off into a bramble bush hurt a lot :(
I don't think horses like me :p

You have had a tooth removed with no local?

ARE YOU MAD?

Dude get them to use the sleeping gas.

Yeah, I must be mad. They're wary about using gas on over 15 year olds or something which is why I've never had it. Been meaning to ask about it though, lucky I don't need teeth removed that often!

Well you've got balls the size of coconuts imo.

I didn't know that about gas. My Mum isn't a big fan of needles and when she had teeth removed she was gased (this has been recently). I guess she just insisted on the gas or not having the work done at all.

The worst pain I've experienced was when some kids where messing around in the back of my brother's work artic lorry. I told them all to get out, and proceeded to shut the back doors (which as you all know are huge). Unfortunately, while closing them, my brain didn't tell my ring finger on my left hand to get out of the way, and I ended up crushing it in the doors. Despite the agony I didn't say anything as the kids were still there, I just went back inside, told my brother what happened, then proceeded to run my finger under the cold tap for about 20 minutes (which did nothing to dull the pain). My nail went black within a day or two, and within a couple of weeks the nail had come off completely. It took a long time for the nail to grow back fully :/

Saying all that, I would rather go through it all again than have another abcess (sp?) toothache. Nothing else completely stops all brain activity in its tracks. Nothing else makes me smash my head against the nearest solid object in the vain hope that I can possibly feel SOMETHING other than the sharp edge of a tooth cutting into the cartlidge in the gumline.

exactly the same happened to mine :(

mum came in from work and asked me why my forehead was bruised , i hadnt even noticed but i soon realised it was from banging my head trying to get rid off the pain, seriously i felt like i needed killing.

its the constant never ending pain that makes it bad, some other things hurt more but only last a few seconds.

Hence the whole shooting someones knee caps off,
Not exactly, the idea of kneecapping, which is done from the back of the leg, is that your patella is pretty much destroyed, meaning you're crippled for the rest of your life/until you get a new knee.

Worst pain i've ever had was when some tit got me in the solar plexus with a 2 by 4, although on a daily basis back pain is worse.

Try 12 so far that I can think of off hand... :(

:'(

Yep had 3 of them. I'm a pussy so I find when that 6 inch tube is being pushed into your chest to painful. Thank god I had some of my lung removed otherwise I can imagine it would have happened 6 times by now.
After the operation it was painful as well. As soon as the epidural comes out after 5 days the pain kicks in. Grrr

All good now. An 8" scar on my tiny chest but at least I can walk up the stairs now

He couldnt move after about 10 minutes :p
