i remember when i went a few years with a bunch of the lads and one of them dropped all his paintballs and they all splattered on the floor apart from maybe 20 or so, laughed our heads of as he had to queue up again for about 5 minutes

That's how they make their money mate.
I've never seen a dropped pellet break. If they were that fragile they'd never survive insode the hopper.i remember when i went a few years with a bunch of the lads and one of them dropped all his paintballs and they all splattered on the floor apart from maybe 20 or so, laughed our heads of as he had to queue up again for about 5 minutes![]()
If you don't like their rules then don't go.I understand its how they make their money. Only charging £10 for the day. But is it really necessary to charge £7 for 100 balls?
£4 for 100 would be a lot better. That way everyone gets loads of balls and they make a tidy profit too. I think they are jsut being greedy £35 for 1000 and they would still make loads of dosh. They can get them it at probably £10 for 2000
Screw them, when i go next time im doing like some of my mates did years ago and taking my own

So you reuse dropped paint and want to take your own anyway? My hopper came open due to being loose and they went all over the floor when i played in one game. I sat there scooping them up and putting back into the gun in the mud as i was getting peppered
Given you've been, you have been told why you shouldn't use dropped paint?

The site we use near us is free with a free lunch included however paintballs are £6 per 100 as well. However you can buy a full box for of 2000 for £80 which makes them only £4 per 100.
I guarantee that it will have been explained. Most likely you just weren't listening to the safety briefing.£7 dropped on the floor due to a knackered hopper. It i had dropped them by mistake it would be my fault, so fair enough, but it wasnt. I never heard them say anything about using dropped paint. I'm sure a few people were doing it throughout the day
