I don't think that was thrown away, it was just brilliant bowling.
England knew that Umar "Daisy" Gul and Ajmal had overs left and they needed to make the most of the overs beforehand but that over from Gul made it very difficult

If Awais Zia stays in for 6-7 overs, we should be ok. If he goes early, it will be tough. Either way, Pakistan never make easy work of a run chase.
