Will be interesting to see how India bats tommorrow, im hoping the pakistani bowling will be able to skittle them out for next to nothing but then india has tendulkar who can be a one man team at times.

Draw definately seems the most likely outcome. I can see Pakistan knocking India over once, but twice.. 20 wickets, on this pitch, seems almost impossible tbh. Those who saw the days play will probably agree with me, the pitch is just dead.

This guy is just brilliant in Test matches, simply superb and whenever he goes out you just expect a big score. If he played in this way in the ODI form he would be a great ODI player as well, in Test matches he knows he can leave 4 balls in an over and make his runs off 2 ball but in ODI form he forces himself to make runs off all 6 balls! He has faced 5 more balls than Dravid and has 59 more runs! But you need one guy at the end to keep things tight and one guy to blitz down the other, going all out at both ends is not recomended in situations like this!
In 11 innings against Pakistan Sehwag currently has 1078 runs at a mind boggling average of 107.8. That is an incredible record and the Pakistani players must be getting sick of the sight of the bloke He has a 50, 100, 200 and 300 against them. I bet he wished he could play Pakistan everyday He really is India's big game player, he always does rubbish against crap bowlers but stick a class bowling attack infront of him and he transforms himself into a match winning player. His approach to the game is refreshing really, no matter who is bowling if it is there to be smashed he will do it. His mental approach is like Tendulkar's old approach, he is not scared of any bowler. Whether it is McGrath's nagging line and length or Lee/Akhtar 90+mph deliveries he isn't afraid and isn't the type who is more worried about his average than his team. It really is great to see and I only wish he played in the ODI form of the game in a similar way! People say he came into this match with bad form, in the ODI game his form was poor but in Test apart from a worthless series against Zim he hasn't done that bad really.
A great opening stand for India, needed a good reply and so far it has been the perfect reply. A shame a day has been wasted here, looks destined for a draw right now but you never know in test cricket.

Its only really sehwag and dravid I worry about as a pakistani supporter. Some of the others can be devastating aswel, but I worry about them 2 for some reason even more then tendulkar.
I woke up at 7am to catch the action, hoping by then to see that 4-5 indian wickets had dropped, but I only saw both umpires stood in the middle of the pitch, on what looked like a nice normal day, saying its too dangerous to play in this bad light so thats why the players were called off?
Does anyone else think this is getting beyond a joke now or is it just me? Iv got nothing at all against the indian batsmen choosing to go off, they were obviously given the option so they took it, as any other team in their position would have, but what is all this bad light business about? Its like there is this rule there, and the umpires follow it quite literally, without using any common sense. The light reading metre says this, therefore its too dangerous to play

What an insane reply by India this is. India are currently 316-0 with Sehwag on 201 and Dravid on 91. Sehwag getting to 200 in an insane 182 balls, 2nd fastest double century of all time, hit Rana for four 4s as well, go on try for six 6s as well . Currently of a 188 balls he has 202 runs and Dravid 191 balls has 91 runs
I think it is safe to say this is a good batting track Michael Holding was asked as well if he would like to bowl, he said he would pull a muscle and not bowl at all lol.

Dravid has made his century as well, so well done to him as well. The record opening partnership is 413 and set back in January 1956 by some Indians as well and I reckon that is in sight! Hope I don't jinx em here though

What a rubbish pitch, purely for batting and nothing else. Am surprised at how well India have done but even when pakistan were batting i knew that pitch was going to give nothing to the bowlers.
Damn groundsman must have been paid off by the Indians.
Looks to be a draw this match for sure, Sehwag playing some excellent shots on a puyre batting pitch...im looking forward to the next test, hopefully it will give a bit more to the bowlers...totally lost interest in this match tbqh.
