"Pancake Tuesday" - How do you make yours?

I have ham and cheese ones (got to be good ham) for dinner and then lemon and sugar for dessert. All about the classics for me!

Ooh, that does look awesome AH! Might have to have a go of making that.

Edit - Oh wow. You actually use 12 pancakes in the cake. I thought that only the top and bottom were pancakes!

hmmm interesting - hard to beat good ol' savoury and sweet toppings though

Bacon and maple syrup goes down a treat then usually nutella for afters. But then again anything I can find goes in them

Will be having some sort of savoury 'crepe style' pancakes, probably ham, cheese and mushroom, followed by some 'american style' pancakes with maple syrup.

Bloody love pancakes :D

Oh god... Gutted I won't be here else is be having me pancake, crispy Bacon and a lashing of maple syrup.

Might... Might have to work that one in this week!!

We will have the bog standard pancakes with sugar and lemon juice or maple syrup.
But i must say Glaucus's recipe does look very yummy, i am very tempted....

Thinking of trying out an american buttermilk recipe with some chocolate chips and walnuts thrown in. Possibility of blueberries and disaster are 50% too.

Well we're having pancakes for our main course and for desert! :D

Then again we have crepes often at home as we enjoy them.

Batter is so easy to make.

190g of flour
3 eggs
375ml milk
good pinch of salt
spoon of icing sugar
drop of rum if you have any

Just add them bit by bit to get a nice smooth lump-free batter. Leave in fridge over night.

Tonight we're having pancake parcels filled with a creamy chicken filling, then grate some cheese over the top and grill in the oven.

Then pud, well whatever combination!

I have a pancake pan which is my favourite pan :p

Oh and it's Shrove Tuesday - not "pancake day" ;)
