Just read about the hostage attempt. This reminds me that if a terror attack were to happen here it would be even more carnage. Up by Crewe for instance I was told by someone that armed response can take up to an hour because of cuts. How true it is, is anyone's guess but I do know the guy is friends with several people who are armed response.

RIP to the 150 killed in Paris yesterday by ISIS
RIP to the 26 killed (Muslims) during a memorial service by ISIS in Baghdad yesterday
RIP to the 40 killed (Muslims) at a mosque in Lebanon by an ISIS suicide bomber on Thursday.

The latter 2 attacks seem to have passed over some of the posters here.

People are taking this personally as an attack on the west or non Muslims when actually it's indiscriminate.

Hmm.. I believe that organised religion should be banned. I support that individuals can have their own religion. It is up to the individual to interpret without someone telling people how to interpret, how to partake and to force people to adopt or perform actions based on someone else's perspective.

Indeed. Religion is a great tool to get the masses to support a cause, and to kill their neighbour.

Have you read the story of a girl who was raped by her neighbour in Iraq after he joined ISIS? She said that he was always a family friend but joined because it was better to be with them than against them (ISIS). A Muslim extremist right there...(!)

It is. I've mentioned that the world seemingly forgets the Muslims AND non-Muslims killed in non-Western countries. Since the Crusades it's been an Islam vs the West mentality, and we need to go beyond that to tackle this.
