Part-worn tyres

LOL, they sound like my current tyres then.
Good in the dry (in fact, having very little tread, they're superb - almost slicks) but in the wet they're ridiculous.
The other night, even setting off at 1,700rpm I was spinning the wheels
And locking the wheels when I had to brake hard on the motorway was ******* scary!

Taking the other one down in my lunch hour.
£25 each for some Continential 195/55/15's fitted and balanced. Can't complain. They've got quite a bit of tread left on them too, so it'll be good to see how long these ones last
