On my motherboard, at least, an extra set of fans would clash with the heatsinks, the RAM, and the CPU power socket.

i have a gigabyte board and the placements are the same as on your board (looking at the pictures) im guessing ill have the same issue too then. never mind.

also ive just been told that the power switch is already sleeved for me so that saves me a job.

so the case has arrived woohoo.

the power switch cables are going to need re-sleeving (not an issue as im enjoying the sleeving stuff atm)

i have also been informed i have the very first S2.0 version of the case. some subtle changes which will be detailed during the build.

i do need the NV card i just cant afford the NV card.

the gainward phantom 770 would look good in it too i reckon and is only £250 atm.

if it was £200 i would buy it now (i know i can sell the games etc but im factoring in that also)

it will be the new year before i can afford the gpu (at current prices)

Even though the Avexir is stunning looking ram, a lot of people will tell you them sammy greens are excellent little performers.

yeah i bought them due to reading good reviews and the fact they were on offer for £35 (cannot believe the price now )

well all i can say for now is that the case is a joy to build. i have most of it done and have been taking pictures during building but i stopped at 12 last night so will finish it off today and get the pictures up later.

the case went together like a glove and the rear chamber means you can hide all the nasty cables down the back easily.

once its done today i will still have a few more bits left to do, i will need to fit my extensions, i have a black switch coming to take place of the silver one and i have another strip of lights to give it some more glow.

Also are you not using an intake fan on the front grill ?

i have some MDPC-X extensions on the way from the nice chap davido_labido

List of things to do:

Remove unnecessary mobo stands
switch the cables to braided ones
sleeve the sata cables
add another strip of lights for the front logo
change the vandal switch for a black one with white led.

i have a Corsair AF140 on the front, 2 Corsair SP120's in pull config at the top and 2 BeQuiet fans exhausting out the back.

dont like the front usb cable though. connections are too big to sleeve so not sure what to do with that. any ideas?

Buy bigger sleeving?

it would need to be big enough to go over the mobo connection (as that side is smaller than the front of the case)

Nils sent me some green sleeve with the white I ordered if you're interested in it? I have no use for it! (its very bright!)

First and foremost im going to apologise for the photos. the lighting in my house at night is absolutely shocking. i will take some pictures of the build all lit up on the weekend when its the only time i can take pictures with daylight on my side.

these photos are the build stage, there will be more incoming as there are a few more items which need to be added and some changes with the cables.

so it starts with some boxes.

and unboxings

these are slightly older photos as i had sleeved the fans before yesterday

it was then time to sleeve the power cable and switch light cables.
they did come pre sleeved but i didnt like it so i re-sleeved them myself.

time to start

the inlay on the front panel is incredible.

standoffs were pre installed (need to remove 2 still)

the cubes

installing the midwall

cubes on the bottom panel (feet - s2.0)

piecing together the rear panel

wtf?? - some bad quality here.

now for the rear fans

and the hdds (s2.0 mounting) - the SSD fits underneath the psu

i then installed the H100 and 2 corsair SP120's but i didnt take photos of this bit.

i managed to grab a few quick pics this afternoon in the light.

so that brings me almost to now.

my black vandal switch turned up today so ive fitted that now.

i need to remove 2 mobo standoffs

i have some more leds to give the front logo a glow.

davido_labido is sending me some mdpc-x extensions he has made for me.

im so chufffed with the case and how well it fits together. its a joy to build in.

the next stage in my journey will be to actually get the Nvidia gpu and then i might think about some real watercooling

so ive had the rest of the stuff delivered and im pretty much finished for the time being.

here it is with the black power switch installed.

Then it was time i got some sleeved extensions (Thanks Davido_Labido)

so i installed them.

while i was at it i destickered the fans

the corsair goes well in this.

so now im all done

thanks, i do however have an issue. when i was screwing the backside panel back on i heard a crack and the panel fell back off.

the plastic cracked on the inside by the screw so its only being held on with 3 atm.

ive tweeted parvum about it.

they have sent me a new top cover for my keyboard to do some colour matching with.

i have also ordered some keycaps.

my storage has increased also.

gone from 1 x 120gb ssd & 1 x 250gb Mech

to

1 x 120gb ssd
1 x 240gb ssd
1 x 1tb Mech

Thankyou also to Parvum, they are sending me a new side panel (psu side) as the corner has cracked off on mine

Yeah the back side panel (PSU side) has countersunk holes - VERY fine line between bolt being just tight enough or too tight and smashing through the countersink. Did the same on my first one

yup thats what happened.

one of my sata cables failed on me last night so ive got another couple of cables to sleeve up tonight, will also install the hdds. (they are just hanging out the side of the case at the moment.
