I don't think there will be a 1080ti or if there is it's not going to match or beat a Titan x this time.
If Titans can do 2.1ghz then a 1080ti isn't going to do any better even aib cards.
It's going to be cut down, maybe only 9gb or 8gb the same as the 1080.
If you are lucky it will be halfway between a 1080 and Titan in performance and £800 to £850.
If I was spending that if put the extra to have a proper Titan.still thinking about it now
I'm not 100% sure they've got 2 approaches imo, release a 1080 Ti that's even more cut down with 9gb Vram across a 384 bit bus, or if AMD bring something out then release a fully fledged card based on the TI just like they did with the 780 Ti

which is a shame AMD have literally nothing to compete with nvidia at current prices especially with Fury x at £500

that's 5 cards in nvidias lineup that is faster than AMDs best offering pathetic if you ask me, looks like AMD are stuck in 2014 with the performance they're offering.

AMD appears to have given up on the high end and I don't blame them. With many people favouring Nvidia cards anyway why bother making expensive cards that won't sell much.
Nvidia had absolutely no competition in the high end hence the rapid release of pascal cards recently. The Titan Xp has a clear 6-10 months market to itself by the looks of it.

There will be a Ti, or another varient of this card, at least. There is too much cut from this one for there not to be.

On air at the crippled 1750 boost if keeping noise to bearable.
Over 2ghz it's clearly going to be over 30% again as I said all along
Just a question of whether I have the balls to risk a warranty. Glad to see no stickers for starters anyway.
Going to wait for more results from people. Really want to see an overclocked water cooled single Titan vs oc 1080 in sli in varies games at 4K.
Both will be the same cost and I could sell both my 1080s and do a straight swap.

I'll be running the fan at 100% all the time anyway noise isn't an issue in my mancave with big headphones on. Just like I did my 1080. I'll be adding a Hybrid to mine when they come out it'd be rude not to with this card, plus thats what we have contents insurance for isn't it. Get your order in you might miss out on the 9th.
It's a beast. i think the lower percentage increases you get when looking at the minimum framerate increases rather than the averages.
the masses of memory bandwidth seem to be skewing some of the scores posted. still a beast though.
litmus test is minimum framerate increase in division. can someone add up the quoted percentage increases of minimum framerate in the division over a 1080 in 1080p ?

That's what I took from the review, really impressive minimums.
Shame the card doesn't have a decent cooler and cost under £900, then I would have been in

It's a card that cries out to be water cooled and/or custom third party cards. Please Nvidia make this happen...

Indeed, it's a problem for all of us. Hopefully Their Vega will sort things out a bit, but that's 2017 i think...
