Finally I can drive!

Third test, went really well, 3 driving faults! Absolutely chuffed.

Now the fun of getting insurance sorted!

So pleased.

Congrats. Best bit of advice is to be very mindful of speed cameras as it's so easy to pick up speeding points from them when you first start driving, especially on unfamiliar roads.

I saw a learner driver get flashed by a speed camera on Tuesday evening while I was coming the other way :(

Get a satnav or road angel if you can - I update my TomTom weekly from PocketGPS. Those on high horses will go on about always knowing what speed they are doing, and never creeping above the limit unintentionally, but (as above) when you're trying to find your way around unfamiliar places, it's possible to slip a few mph over the limit, or get caught out by a 40-30 transition zone, for example.

Enjoy :D

I do find it odd how people get caught by cameras tbh. Motorway I can inderstand but in 30/40 it's a bit silly really. You should be going slow enough to anticipate and you aint going slow enough you deserve to get caught in those sitations.

But hey ho, no doubt I'll get caught on the way home :D

Congrats on the pass. After 3 tests you'll probably want to blow off some steam now you aint got someone mentally make you **** up. Just take it easy and don't get too wound up or confused if you **** up whilst out on the roads. If you're sensible you'll get the hang of the daily idiots in no time, or join them in spectacular fashion maybe.

Or don't drive too quickly? Not too hard :p.

From what I saw, they were going with the flow of traffic but had a lapse of concentration and nudged a few mph above what they should have been doing. I know that particular camera is very sensitive though. :(
