Ctrl+Shift+L also works on Bitwarden.
One of the things that seems "missing" from bitwarden over others is it doesnt have an autofill detection on login boxes? I have to either right click or open the browser extension icon, or is this an option to turn on?
IIRC it's done this way deliberately as an extra layer of security to prevent hijacking of passwords that are auto-filled into a page.
No good to me then, as an example for one particular site in my work I have 4 different logins from the same page, that then goes to a new page on each with another 2-3 logins depending on what is being done.
The ability to just click the login box and select the right account quickly when swapping between them is critical. As stupid as it sounds, that extra "right click, find the right context menu, move mouse, select account" over "click box, click account" isnt acceptable![]()
Right but then use autofill and you don't have to right click any menu. You have to turn this on.
Yes I have autofill turned on, and if I have to use a different login to the one it autofills its an absolute chore compared to Lastpass for example.
Then you would just go to the password manager and select the right one you want to log in with.
And yea thats the issue that ive explained above.
Why is it an issue?
Productivity. When im having to log in and out of multiple levels of systems and subsystems rapidly multiple times within an hour with multiple differing logins, the extra faff of bitwarden over basically every other password managers implementation is an issue.
Then you don't want bitwarden, have you tested each one of them to see which one increases productivity then?

I can't see how you'd avoid that as you'd have multiple accounts all referencing the same url, so it would still require you to manually select one?

This is how I do it with 1Password when I have multiple URLs on the same parent domain.Yes, but on everything else you left click the password box and chose the account, 2 clicks and takes half a second.
I do it with two clicks at the minute. Given I'm already at the login page, I click the Bitwarden extension icon on Chrome and then click the login I would like it to use to login with. Is that not what you mean?Yes, but on everything else you left click the password box and chose the account, 2 clicks and takes half a second.

Well, I don't know if it's considered more work... click the login box, select an account or move mouse up to bitwarden icon, click and click an account. Same clicks, but maybe 1 second longer? Why do you think I was asking if I had missed an option?
