Password managers

I'm thinking of moving from Authy to Bitwarden Premium but I'm not entirely sure how to do so. I'll have a hunt around for tutorials.

Edit: I already use Bitwarden Premium for passwords I'm just talking about 2FA.

I didn't realise BW did 2FA actually. I might have to look into that.
It does 2fa wonderfully - you scan the QR code the same as other authenticators. If you are doing it in your browser, copy the key provided and paste into the TOTP field.
It also now does passkeys if your browser is compatible (chromium, firefox are definitely supported as that is what I use)

I see some people on reddit don't like 2FA integrated with a password manager, i assume they must have a lot of time on their hands or don't log into many websites.

I now get 1Password Family for free via our work account which I'm chuffed with. However I moved my wife back to Apple Passwords and she's managing perfectly fine. But it does mean I don't have to pay for an individual account for myself anymore.

So I've been using Google password manager forever! I think it's time for a little better security.
Me and my wife share a goggle account for email and some websites. So my question is how does this work? I have 2 Computers and the wife has a laptop, plus 2 mobile phones.

Which Password manager would work? Does each password manager have a mobile app? Desktop app? Thanks

I'm a 1Password user. Migrated from Keepass a few years ago, never looked back. Work use this thing called passpack, and it's absolutely awful.

I'm getting on fine with Bitwarden. But what password manager would be best for the much older generation, as I have only used Bitwarden I can only say that would be difficult for someone to get their mind around. I have come across so many of the older generation saying they write down all their passwords and their passwords are very weak.

Got a question about passkeys

1password/

I know passkeys can't be exported, but say I wanted to move to a different pw manager, lets say for example playstation account passkey, how do I move across?
At this time would it be a case of disabling passkey and enabling password for the move across, and then setting up passkey again ?

edit/ playstation you can create multiple passkeys, so I guess it would just be a case of setting up the new password manager alone side current password manager and then creating and saving new passkey into the new pw manager?

There are draft spec's out for importing / exporting of passkeys, so hopefully an easy migration in the future.

Any decent password managers for mobile phones on android 14+? Samsung pass is so bad, have to edit and copy n paste the password and log in a dozen times each time you flick between apps/screens...

Half my popular apps fail to detect samsung pass even if its been logged in successfully.
