Path of Exile(diablo clone)

Played this to level 28 and for any one who doesn't know you go through the 20 or so quests in the game (act 1 and act 2) which are rather short and then everything grinds to a halt.... no new town, no new quests, nothing. Then you stumble upon a statue type thing and it puts you right back at the beginning but on a harder setting 'cruel difficulty' this is a big loop each time getting harder and harder, but... the EXACT same content! there is an act 3 in the works which might add another 5 hours of new content, but then back to the start again on a harder mode.....

Maybe if the game had 20 acts i would have given it a go, but i personally hate the whole idea of repeating content and not much of it either! If your looking for a big, varied story line based game this is NOT for you.

Huge Diablo fan, signed up for the Beta early last year for the Path of Exile in the hope it would sustain me till D3 comes out.

If anyone has a spare Beta key for Path of Exile and could send it my way, it would be very much appreciated.

Did anyone else take a look at the skill tree and then clean the vomit off their screen?
Now this is from a month ago but seriously, seriously, WHO THOUGHT THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA?

That's only the bottom left corner of the screen, there's 3 more entire sections like this and then some. The most ridiculous thing I've ever seen(in a game), I'd give away my account if I could

One of the main selling points of this game is that hugely complex skill tree ("skill forest" I believe is the term the devs might use to describe it jokingly). I do think it could stand to be trimmed down some though, some of the tree is bloated a tiny bit simply for the sake of it but the game is still in closed Beta and they have already changed it several times so I'm holding out hope.

I *think* I'm streaming footage of this game tonight for the race event that the devs put together (3 hour marathon to the highest level with in-game prizes and stuff, basically just for fun). It depends on whether my laptop can handle a decent quality stream of this.

As for the account give away thing, you can quite easily change both your password and your email and give it away no problem (just don't tell the devs

). I definitely know someone who'd be interested in taking it off your hands.

Dungeon siege 2, torchlight and mythos are all better "diablo" clones.

i like how they tried to take the skill tree from FFX. lul.
