PATIENCE - IF PLANNING TO BUY A 50 SERIES..........

Given most will sell their 4090 for around £1200 then paying £800 on top for a less than 20% performance uplift seems ridiculous.
Panic sellers earlier this month sold for 1200 a few perhaps but now? Other topics here shown people sold them used ones for close to £1.8k as after reviews of 5090 went live people seem to have jumped on 4090 instead, so they sell for good monies currently. :)

What's the thing with F5? What's wrong with the browser refresh icon? Don't think I ever use function keys

*Urgent*

F5 is not working on my keyboard, it launches a recorder widget or something, help me, help me please

F5-deficiency is the leading indirect cause of low framerates :D

Just identified the guy who's not getting a 5000 on launch :(

Faster, leave your mouse cursor near where you think the buy button will be on the page and mash f5. Tbh just use a tab reloader add-in and no f5 needed.

Yeh even the 4090 FE going for like £1850 second hand, stupid price, mind you the FE was the best 4090 in my eyes, but i guess some people may not get a 5090 for like 6 months, shortage was for like even a year last time i think.

I literally meant this sound when reading Gibbo’s post, then saw your post and smiled

Hmmm scalpers on Ebay saying they are employees of leading UK retailers and have been given first preference of 5090 purchases, I would like to know what retailer allows staff to so this

TBH this is no different to any other company practices.
I used to work for GAME years ago and whenever new consoles came in staff always got first dibs - Although these were not resold.
Although scummy it is a nice way to look after staff + Would rather a member of staff of a company get the hardware than a scalper.

However in this case the company who the scalper is getting the card from should really cancel his pre-order and have a quiet word with him.

Not gonna be hard to suss out any FE cards that may be listed as theres only one place in the UK they come from.

Meanwhile, plenty of scalpers sell 5090 for 4k+ already... And 5080 is not a replacement for 4090 so there's not much choice really if someone needs or wants faster GPU.

Yeah, that sounds a bit ridiculous. Sure, employees perks but stop people just scalping. :/
