Which speed ram is yours?@Zeeflyboy what board do you have? I can't even get 3400mhz stable @CL17 but I haven't tried since August and have some motherboard updates that I could use, will try for more later but cba right now.

3600mhz CL17 kit, tried just using the XMP it wouldn't work, even when I reset and put in timings manually, hoping a BIOS update might help.Which speed ram is yours?
Damn, might be because you've got a better board, I'll update mine to a later BIOS as I'm currently on F5 IIRC.@Doogles its a Gigabyte Aorus Master running the latest F11 bios.

It's Hynix CJR, should be able to do 3600mhz easily.Well, its gonna be a bit hard comparing yours and his, because the viper steel ram over 3866+ is B-die and all speeds below 3866, including yours, is not B-die.
Have you tried finding out what type of ram yours is, then using the ryzen ram calculator?
