I get this issue with Paypal (albeit not for OcUK) regular, I'm not really sure what to do as my delivery address shows as confirmed in Paypal but often the payment receipt emails show my address as unconfirmed.
 
Got problem with paypal issues: Your address has not been confirmed by Paypal, as we do not accept unconfirmed addresses we must ask that you choose a different payment method through our standard checkout

It strange as it accepted me last thursday when I had ordered my solid state with confirmed address and verified account!

My paypal "miraculously" worked with OcUK just now. But the price for the Sapphire Pure 625W Modular PSU price raised by £3 comparing to when I was trying to order yesterday and this morning (when I made my previous post), not impressed at all :mad:

Sure it still a good price for the PSU, but it should had been £3 that I didn't need to pay if the paypal for OcUK had worked properly...

I just pray that the 8 pin 12V cable of the PSU is long enough with the PSU bottom mounted, so I would not have to get an extension cable...

OCUK don't want my money. Tried paypal first and like with others says I am not verified though when I check my account it saysL
"Your member status is: Verified".
If there is a way to re-verify please tell me.

I then tried my credit card and that was declined too for some unknown reason(Although not OCUk's fault) :-(

Maybe fate is trying to tell me not to spend £1820.

Was going to get both of today's offers too.(Gainward gfx and Scout case)

Asking to ship to a different address to billing address?
 
No for paypal but on the credit card Billing and Shipping are the same except the shipping address has a postal code: 12345 since Ireland doesn't have postal codes and its a mandatory field.
 
You live in dublin , use your post code between 1 and 24, and if that doesnt work use 00000 its slightly less amigeous than a real number, even if as high as 12345, sorry i dont think it will help your issue, just thought id throw in my 2 cents
 
I placed an order via PayPal yesterday and it all went very smoothly- excellent.
Recieved an email today saying order dispatched- obviously very nice and quick, but not so good news for me really as I needed the items delivered next week- no one can collect this week. On the normal checkout system there is provision for this, with a choice of preferred delivery dates. I had used this but suspect it got overridden by PayPal. I also did add a note to the PayPal order, which I am guessing didn't get read? Hopefully the courier will be able to redeliver, with all the falava that tends to involve, but it would be better to put the option in orders using PayPal including for those that would like to pay for different delivery options.
 
Hi guys, I am new to this forum but I need to ask what this error message mean?

This mean I won't get free shipping?
 
Hi, welcome to the forums :)

you will not get free shipping to Australia as the free shipping only applies to forum members who have met certain criteria and this is a UK only service.

International shipping will obviously be at international rates due to the costs involved.

if you have an unconfirmed address, we are unable to accept a payment via Paypal.

take a look at this link on Paypal, it will go some way to explain why Paypal enforce this restriction upon sellers.
 
So much easier to spend money with services like paypal once you have your account set up. Double click to auto fill email address and stick password in, click next a couple times n done :p

on the downside, paypal don't necessarily follow UK consumer protection law (such as refunding return shipping on faulty goods) and you aren't covered by section 75 even if you do use your credit card via paypal

my experience of paypal is that they can be rather random in cases where it isn't 100% clear cut, where as a credit card company will give you your money back pretty easily if you answer all their questions and make it obvious that you are willing to go to court over it, they will just pay up as it's cheaper than sending their lawyers out for the day, where as paypal will quite happily tell you to stick it if they think it will cost them money and you have no comeback and you would have to take the retailer to small claims directly yourself, which is a lot more arduous than writing to your credit card company

anything over about £20 and I always prefer to pay by credit card directly
 
Always good news to hear of more payment options.....

I hope pocket fluff payment option is next, all I will have left soon.
