PC CRASHES when loading certain games?

So after everything reset my game that crashes on load up loaded first time so i restarted the pc tried again and it loaded again, So im guessing everything back to default worked, Now, my idle temps are 49-55c and with Hunt showdown open but not actually in game just in menus im getting around 61-65c, I still havent tried reseating the cpu and fan etc because I personally dont think thats the issue as a lot of people have bad temps with just stock cooler, unless anyone has any other tips I could try im looking at an aftermarket cooler to see if that will bring temps down, The undervolting worked best for me so far in terms of temps but I believe thats what was causing the crashes, I did make a list as I went lower and lower with voltages with the temps I was getting at certain voltages and the scores I ws getting in cinebench So when I found 1 with no performance loss and lower temps I stuck with it, It was 4ghz clock on cpu and a core voltage of 1.0v, If anyone is interested I could upload a screenshot of my readings as i went lower and lower, also this is a screenshot of my cores load and temps when I was downloading a game with a Game also open in menus.

Cinebench is not a proper stability test. Undervolting needs the same testing as overclocking because you're asking the cpu to perform outside the guaranteed default settings.

Run for a couple of hours, if it's not failing then your changes are probably ok. Repeat after every new change. Yes it takes forever. Usually best to start with large steps to find roughly stable then inch closer with small steps until you're satisfied.
 
I will give it a try, Would lowering the ghz on the cpu clock speed have a substantial effect on the temp? and would i need to change something else if i was changing the ghz so nothing is out of proportion? Because I really dont mind losing a little bit of performance for lower temps, I dont play many games on really good graphics anyway, All I really want is the temps down.

So you think I could find a good balance between low temps not too much undervolting etc?
 
Absolutely. It's called a much larger heatsink.

Your cpu will still use the same amount of energy and produce the same amount of heat but the larger heatsink will transfer the heat into the air in your room faster so the chip can't get as hot.

Your CPU will temporarily slow itself down if it goes to its limit of 95 degrees, which may happen on the stock cooler. However as long as you're happy the crashing was from bios changes and that it's stable at its default settings and that performance isn't critical then it's fine.

A lot of people here use large heatsinks so their cpus will never slow down by hitting temperature limits even overclocked.

Nevermind Im pretty sure everything is default in my bios apart from my RAM mhz which i changed to 3200mhz manually instead of the xmp way and still got a crash when i loaded up the game :/
 
Use XMP on ram. If you are just upper MHz manually and you don’t know what you are doing (no offence but your knowledge of hardware and bios do seem limited), you are asking for trouble.

Go in bios set everything to default and select XMP profile from the bios and be done with it for now until you either get someone with a bit better know-how to sort your PC out or you can read through some of the ryzen OC guides.
 
Also since this is a new build you may have installed some monitoring software that came with the motherboard drivers.

New AMD cpus are designed to idle at low temps, clocks and voltage then ramp up extremely quickly when there's demand.

Some monitoring software spams demands for updates (temperatures, clock speeds among other things) multiple times a second and the AMD cpus see that as a work request and ramp up (which increases temps).

If you have such software running constantly your cpu will never go into low power mode because the spammed monitoring requests keep it ramped up.
