This is my point, AM5 is more affordable now...I know i new motherboard and CPU might be the best but i just don't have the funds for a whole new system.
trust me i would love to.. i don't plan to upgrade my GPU anytime soon,
should i save up and wait !!
My basket at OcUK:
- 1 x Asus Prime B650M-A WIFI II (Socket AM5) DDR5 Micro-ATX Motherboard (SKU: MB-6K6-AS) = £139.99
- 1 x TeamGroup Vulcan 32GB (2X16GB) DDR5 PC5-44800C36 5600MHz Dual Channel Kit - Black (FLBD532G5600HC36BDC01) (SKU: MY-0BB-TG) = £99.95
- 1 x AMD Ryzen 5 7600 Six Core 5.10GHz (Socket AM5) Processor - Retail (SKU: CP-3DW-AM) = £218.99
- 1 x AMD - Starfield Ryzen Game Bundle (SKU: DIG-AMD-00523) = £0.00
Total: £466.92 (includes delivery: £7.99)
Plus you get starfield which you could sell. (Probably about £25.) - That makes it £30 more than the 5800x3d and ddr4 ram from here.....
Plus sell your 2700x/board/ram and still get a half decent amount back.
