I finally managed to get Metro Exodus working after a load of faffing on. Can't complain too much though; £2 for two months access gives me more than enough time to play it.

Did you end up having to install the Windows Insiders software?
 
Tempted to plonk a couple years worth on this, the guys in the office have stacked their accounts with 3 years worth of the standard console pass (3 x 12 month codes), then used the ultimate £1 offer which has converted all 3 years worth into the ultimate pass.

No, that's one of the few things I didn't have to do. I couldn't get it to recognise my MS account upon trying to run the game, so had to use Powershell to make some changes.
 
I know its in beta, but has anyone had trouble actually signing into the APP? I keep signing in, its shows my little figure etc then I am instantly signed back out. Cant actually download anything through it lol.

All the upcoming Halos & Metro Exodus alone make it worth £7.99 a month even along with Forza & the other games. Fair play to MS though they clearly got a lot of PC gaming wrong for many many years but this is a decent step in the right direction & a price many players can easily afford right now.

The Forza they offer is garbage though, Motorsport is way better than Horizon.

Still good value non the less.

Plus of course Flight Simulator and Borderlands 3 later on down the road. Bargain price imo, even at £7.99. Still cheaper than World of Warcraft Classic ;)

I appear to have signed up for two accounts, the first for £7.99 Xbox Game Pass and the second £1.00 for Xbox Game Pass PC Games. Can I get rid of the £7.99 account? I do not own an Xbox.

Agreed, its good value, even at £7.99, I've got a stack of MS reward points anyhow, i'll transfer to store credit, got enough for 12 months so this is even better for me. I really can't grumble, and yes MS have been really hitting it out the park, they have really stepped up, and as said all new MS games will come to Game pass - its a great deal.

It is confusing, way I see it, if you don't own an Xbox, then you only need the Xbox Game Pass PC, the other two tier packages aren't needed. Xbox game pass and Xbox Live are not needed if all you do is game on PC.

However if you own a xbox, PC and game online on both or online with your Xbox, then the xbox ultimate pass is excellent value for money - thats a lot of gaming for both PC and xbox.
