PC Game Pass (was Xbox Game Pass for PC)

Think the game pass app creates a hidden partition on the end of the c drive. I just cloned my c dive to a new drive and needed to extend the main partition, the only way I could do it was to delete the ~1GB partition that was on the end. App's/Game should not be able to mess with drive partitions! The game pass app no longer works now but will not be using it anyway, just a heads up.

There's nothing on my PC using Disk Management console.

Talking of EA is there any point in having Origin and EA desktop? Im assuming the desktop is a replacement for Origin? :/

Eventually it will be but there are some features and even games missing on EA Desktop. Steam doesn't recognize EA Desktop so it will install Origin if you have games on there.

I'm surprised how much I've been enjoying SnowRunner but it does get me mad at times. You start a contract, find out you can't really do it with the equipment you have (truck keeps getting stuck in mud) so it's a case of trying new ones until you can do one and get some money. But each time I get stuck, I quit out as I feel my patience is being tested. :p

There are yeah, there are a few vehicles, sort of similar in scope to the vehicles in Subnautica, plus you can build a base , again similar to Subnauticas base.

Cripes. That does sound good. I must have barely scratched the surface so far. I'm at a point where I either keep dying of asphyxiation, being frozen or being irradiated. :p

Just downloaded it, I didn't realise it was out already, but a quick bit of googling tells me it's not actually released, it's more of an early access thing. Not sure if original one was too.

It came out of early access in May.

I’ve had a quick play but it hasn’t grabbed me in the same way as the original but it’s early days yet.

What is everyone's experience using Cloud Gaming? I just played some Banjo-Kazooie and the little connection icon kept popping up in the corner. There's a very slight delay to input from what I've seen, but nothing that would ruin the game. The on the odd time, the screen would look like it refreshed the screen but no noticeable lag or delay. Just done a speedtest and it comes out at 88Mbps, so this I would have thought wouldn't have issues. Anyone else getting these or an flawless connection?

On my old FTTC (70Mbps max) I could play perfectly well via Chrome/Edge but the picture went a bit fuzzy now and again. Using the Xbox app, I'd be lucky if I could get more than 60 seconds of gameplay before I had to stop. It seems the Xbox app is using a different method as the quality seems higher but you need a better connection.

Now on my new FTTP, both work flawlessly. Occasionally the Xbox app will complain with the network indicator appearing but the image itself doesn't degrade or become unresponsive.

For some reason, they changed the name and dropped the XBox off. Perhaps too many people were getting confused as the game libraries are a bit different between platforms.

Anyhoo, Sniper Elite 5 set in France, is coming to Game Pass on Day One.

I think that works differently, also ESO only on GP console from what I can see. ESO only requires the base game purchase to access online, you can pay for ESO Plus which grants additional in-game things and access to DLC. Whereas WoW requires a subscription just to play base game (free version limited up to level 20 I think).

Thanks. I guess they could change the model so it matches ESO then.
