PC Games Intel performance testing fake.

if you are in the demographic for buying the cpu which you clearly show then why would you reply ? makes no sense.

What doesn't make sense?

That I think £600 (the UK retail price for the 9900K and the one you would have to pay if you want a warranty) is utterly hilarious?

that isnt intels fault though thats the retailers gouging prices.as said the proper price the cpu is rearly good pricing.

The 9900k, a great CPU for the price? I needed a good laugh.

Like most things in life.. a Passat is a great car for the price but it still doesn't stop me paying extra and buying an Audi though does it although they are pretty much the same cars, Price is relative to what the purchaser is buying it for.

Probably a dumb question but aren't the embargoed reviews likely to line up with PI's second set of results making a mockery of Intel saying "consistently" and again, the flawed methodology?

Not the best analogy as they are one in the same :p

If you're talking about their statement after the second test results then all they said was "Haha, we still get most FPS".

They acknowledged no problems and didn't retract their claim of 50% better. Can't admit faults with your name on in front of the shareholders

They are both x86 compatible, which is equivalent to say that they are both powered by petrol and have wheels. Number of cylinders, max revs, horsepower can be different.

X86 is a set of extensions clipped onto the architecture, AMD's architecture allows them to add multiple dies together, Intel's doesn't.

AMD addresses the flawed PT 9900K benchmarks and shows "Our Benchmarking Best Practices slides".

I would like to point out that some "reputable" sites like GN used overclocked 2700 not 2700X also.....
Even they have 2700X in their stock.....

Winter is coming very soon.
But but what about power consumption? What about our electricity bills..... uh forgot.

These apply only to AMD.....

@Panos lol so true. A lot of the Intel Nvidia complaints would have been a ********* if it had been AMD CPU/GPU that did this. The apologists are out in force today, though good to see the Techtuber's giving it the unbiased treatment, instead of the apologies of the 8xxx series.

Didn't followed closely the "joke" today. Since took 7 1/2 hours to get from Bristol to home tonight. M4, M5, M42, A42, M1, M18 all absolutely at crawl speeds. (30mph average for the whole trip)

But what I saw briefly is a soldered CPU that needs deliding, lapping and liquid metal to perform better!!!!! For p sake. £600 ($520) CPU!!!
