Not so much a deal but a giveaway, if you have a membership to Sapphire Select (you've bought a Sapphire Video card) they are currently dishing out keys to Unstoppable Gorg!

I'd be quick, they usually run out very fast. They had 1000 keys.

Oh and it registers on Steam

It has the worst car handling model of any supposed sim'ish game. The cars all turn around a central axis and it makes them always feel they are steering with the rear wheels.
I have played about half hour but cannot get into it due to the stupid handling. The community patch helps a little but everything still feels rear wheel steer..

Use the Polish Tyre Mod which can be found on NoGrip.com. Think there is a version that's compatible with the community patch.

Makes the handling much better on the majority of cars. Well with a wheel anyway. No idea about how it feels with a controller.

Will give it a go, I'm using a pad so will see how it does...

Anyone know if it registers on Steam? It's in the list on Steam's webpage, but I notice the GMG version states that it won't work with DLC from other retailers.

Well Borderlands is Steamworks, so if you get a key then yes it should register on Steam fine.

It is a shame that the GOTY version with all the DLC isn't also discounted as thats the one I'd go for. I guess you could just get the DLC in a Steam sale.

Not all Borderlands keys register on Steam, I know for a fact GamersGate ones don't. Also GreenManGaming says "Please note, this game is not compatible with DLC from other retailers." so it might not be either.

I almost got Borderlands too for that price, but as said already, it may not be a Steam Key, GMG normally put on the item description if it is Steam DRM or not.

Ive still got a copy of Borderlands from release day and believe it or not, it had NO serial/cd key at all. No Steam, no GFWL, I thought it was unusual in this day and age to not have a serial/cd key considering Borderlands isnt 'that' old.

So, it could be a standalone version of the game without a serial key and no DRM.

Ahh my bad guys, guess we shouldn't assume that just because a game is Steamworks that it will register on Steam. Seems silly really.

The third is a lot of fun and well worth a look. The second is quite possibly the shoddiest piece of **** I've ever played on PC, heard good things about it but found the engine to be unplayably bad.

Recently completed SR3, its very good, pretty much everything you miss from the GTA series really... fun. I actually completed the story & most game elements on Steam, and platinum'd it on PS3 at the same time.

Hadnt played any of the games beforehand, and dismissed it cos it was a poor GTA, but the fact that it had co-op made me reassess it and perhaps actually make more of an effort to see what it was like rather than what others said about it, and its very good.
It doesnt take itself seriously, but its not completely stupid either. The cut scenes are usually funny and make you want to watch them, compared to plenty where you just want them to go away and let you get back to the game.

Very tempted to get SR2 seeing as that has coop too, might be tough going back a version having got used to SR3s graphics, features, and how it does things, to then adapt to SR2, but for £2.50 im sure its worth it for the laughs.
