GoGs weekender

Age of Wonders
Age of Wonders II – The Wizard’s Throne
Age of Wonders – Shadow Magic

All 3 for £7.95
Apart from the fact Shadow magic is basically an enhanced/expanded version of Wizards Throne making the earlier one rather redundant, this gets a big recommend from me. Like it says on the gog page “One of the BEST Turn-Based Strategy games EVER!!!”

Anyone recommend getting Red Faction: Guerilla?

No it seemed like a very shallow game to me, the physics are exceptional but once the novelty of demolishing buildings has worn off the actual gameplay and storyline seems very mundane. It's too repetitive and feels more like SW Battlefront or something than a proper SP game, you know, with respawn points, vehicle points, ammo points etc.

The series is famed for it's desctructible environments but at least you normally get some sort of game to go along with it, Guerilla just feels like a tech demo.

D2D has COD Black Ops for £33.99, which is more than the current Steam price. But there’s a deal for 15% off all DLC packs so if you're missing some of the extra maps, this is the place to go.

Numen: Contest of Heroes is 75% off at Steam to celebrate the one year anniversary of the game. It’s an action RPG. There is a demo available.

Numen: Contest of Heroes £2.00

Offer ends June 7th
