8 or 18? If 18, it can be had cheaper from a high street retailer (£13 last i saw). If 8, then yes it's worth it provided you have a game pad and don't react to console ports like a vampire to garlic. Just need to give it some time for the story to pick up mind you.

Probably not the cheapest its been but Anno 1404 Gold for 9.99 at GetGames.

Its a download service as well and supports the 3.1 patch... whatever that is!
