The reason we suggest this forum is it stops threads like this being clogged up; The forum was created to stop lurkers getting the keys - you can give them away any how you want in there - first come first served, random number generator etc; Knock yourselves out!
When we created the forum we only had you guys in mind. Lurkers and generally people who aren't contributing to the overall community are snapping the keys up without so much of a thanks and quite frankly it's a **** take and it needs to stop. Although it does stop some genuine posts for being part of the giveaways, it also gives the same posts a perfect excuse to get more involved and get posting and contributing.

Well couldn't say no to that humble bundle. Loads of games for what I paid, I donated $10 but that was a bit too low soon as I saw what you got.. $25 is really a fair price for this little lot..

Am I the only one who thinks it's not great form to give away all these keys? It's a bit like sticking a fiver in the British legion charity box, grabbing 4 poppies and giving them to your mates to wear, who haven't donated anything. Whether you love or hate EA, this is an unusually generous corporate gesture (cynicism aside), so why not just cough up your three quid fifty for the games?

The more I think about it, it's a pretty good deal for EA - I bet they are able to account for it as a massive write-off based on $215 per bundle 'sold' even though the vast majority of buyers wouldn't have spent anywhere near that if anything at all so the 'real' value of goods 'donated' to Humble Bundle is far less than the write-off will be.
i.e. right now the number of sales stands at 1 million so would EA be able to write off $215 million even though the perceived value by the people buying is only $5million in total currently?
Nice that it works all round kinda, the charidees get money from us and EA get a massive tax write-off without having to physically donate any money
