*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

Sorry if discussed in this massive thread, but quick question... is BF3 worth it if I am mainly into single player? The web reviews for the single player campaign do not appear to be that positive.

At normal price no but at humblebundle price go for it, the average price you need to pay above to get it is only £3.07 and considering the other great games you get with it then it's a no brainer.

Am I the only one who thinks it's not great form to give away all these keys? It's a bit like sticking a fiver in the British legion charity box, grabbing 4 poppies and giving them to your mates to wear, who haven't donated anything. Whether you love or hate EA, this is an unusually generous corporate gesture (cynicism aside), so why not just cough up your three quid fifty for the games?

agree

Got to agree with - it's £3-4 TO CHARITY for a selection of great games! No offence to anyone but what is with all the scrounging - it's a bit undignified and I personally cant see why you wouldnt just buy it?

Wonder ho many people will end up buying the missing DLC's for BF3 and sims after this bundle, justifiable? hey I didnt have to pay for the game right, may as well but the DLC.

so EA probably get a tax write off an will likely rake sales in too :p

Very valid point , possibly why it's been done.

Don't agree; the analogy doesn't work for me; It's not like you're paying a fiver for one poppy and then taking a few more.

What people are doing is putting the extra money into the charity pot, and the games which they already have are giving them away (another charitable deed). Every one wins.

Scavengers snapping up codes on here rather than forking out a measly £3 for the deal are doing the charities out of money. How can you not see that?

Everyone wins indeed. How are the charities 'winning' by having fewer people making donations to them? Why would OCUK go out of its way to facilitate it?

I bought this humble thing and I only need two of the games. But I won't be posting the unused codes as I simply can't be bothered. See, I'm doing my bit for charity. I feel great.
