Watchdogs £15.84
Far Cry 4 £23.76
Assassins Creed Unity £23.76

Tempted by these...

Watch_Dogs worth it? I've read a lot of negative stuff about it but still kind of want to play it...

Not pre-ordered anything in a while now so not sure about pre-ordering the other 2 and having to wait until October/November to play them.

.

A lot of the negative stuff is down to people wanting (and rightfully so) give Ubisoft **** for their infamous 2012 E3 deception.

The game itself is easily one of the best open world games i've played. It has the best 3rd person cover-gunplay and movement - Waaaaay better than GTA V.
Fun driving once you get used to the slidey back ends and stealth that is actually better executed than a lot of dedicated stealth games. The cool thing about
this is that rather than the usual linear missions where you just wade in, the stealth, freedom of movement and hacking allow you to vary your tactics and mess
with the AI. You could argue the hacking is rather shallow (you just press x whilst looking at what you want to hack) but honestly it works well in an action
oriented game.

The biggest problem the game has, is that the story is pretty convoluted and not that interesting, and the main character Aiden is a hypocritical dick.

In short, as long as you actually like open world games, are not put off by the tech-hacker vibe, appreciate the fact you can approach missions with variety and
don't expect anything revolutionary I think you'll enjoy it. For £16, it's a steal.

Thanks, that is enough to convince me :)

Order placed. Edit: 5 minutes later, added to library :)

Still need to decide about AC Unity and FC4 though lol.

Edit: Installing Watch_Dogs has it setting the folder name to Watch_Dogs (Asia). Does this mean it is a version that should have been on sale in Asia and can I get in trouble for using it in the UK?

Sorry didn't see you had ordered it my bad. I believe it will be fine if you don't need to use a VPN which you won't.
