Because uPlay needs more polishing (and by more I mean a lot). It seems to do this for all games unfortunatelyBit annoying with Splinter Cell Blacklist. Every time I play it, it downloads another massive patch. Why can't it just download them all at the same time?
Recommend to start/exit a few times to get it up to date

Thanks! Started playing Tropico 4 recently and it's ace! I'm sure 3 will be just as good.

. I've played 3 but not got around to playing 4 yet, too many games... Steam does show I've played it for 14 hours but that is just accumulated time spent on the menu when I've intended to play it and ended up going afk instead lol.

14 hours afk?! Wow. I never played a Tropico game before, and I am not a huge fan of these sim type games, but I like Tropico. Already have 24 hrs in like a day lol.

Those 14 hours are likely made up of times when I opened the game but then ended up watching TV with my partner instead and times when I opened the game then fell asleep at the PC lol.
