Looks like they're taking down Titanfall standard PC codes but there's some left at a few places such as the German rainforest (€9.99, about £7.14). Does anyone know if a code bought from them is region free?

I don't understand the reasoning for this. I can understand that the free DLC will be more aimed at those with just the base game. But to give it away for free and then make everyone who hasn't yet played the game but after getting free maps would be interested pay for the game which includes the DLC anyway. What's the point of even letting people have it for free?
I'm still interested in getting this game for around a fiver. I've tried the free trial and while I enjoyed the game, it isn't a game which would keep me playing everyday. So if the price came down again, I'd go for it.
