Never had a problem with CD Keys. I did however have a problem with 'electronic first' whereby my FM16 apparently wasn't legitimate or something and was wiped off steam.

Never had a single problem with CDKeys myself. I usually only buy from them. They tend to be a few quid cheaper than most places, but not so cheap that they seem dodgy. Got Resident Evil 7 most recently and currently got Tekken 7 for around £25 on pre-order.

Anyone had problems with them?
No problems however pre order with them way to go as it gets near release they tend to up price few quid bear retail and then drop it again 2 weeks after release

I thought that CDKeys was slightly better thought of than places like Kinguin and g2a? Certainly they don't seem to have had the level of negative press.

Dont know what CDkeys or G2A are like, but I've bought 71 keys (according to my account) from Kinguin over the years and not had a problem with any of them.

Yep. I noticed that too some time ago and been pre-ordering early. I don't pre-order much anyway, I only do it for games/franchises I wish to support.

As long as I like the franchise and the developer/publisher does not take the urine, I am happy to pre-order. Most recently I was majorly let down by Square Enix and they went from being one of my favourite publisher's to me being indifferent to them due to how they handled Deus Ex Mankind Divided. I even pre-ordered from GMG and went for the Digital Deluxe version of the game to show support. But now going forward they won't get much money out of me.

Sure the keys work fine. We don't know how or which region the games have been acquired. It would be like someone using a VPN to mask their IP to another country so they can purchase the game at a chreaper price. Do any developers even mention CDKeys on their list of legitimate resellers? Might be a reason for that.

I was under the impression that a lot of the cheaper keys were derived from physical media bought in regions which were cheaper, and then box cut-outs or codes scanned for those marketplace sites.

Can sell scam/unauthorised keys, I've had FC4 and season pass wiped off Uplay, I got refunded eventually then ubi uturned after they got stick as it wasn't customers fault and reinstated the key, and had the Vanashing of Ethan Carter wiped off Steam about 5 months after I bought it.

just one of the tales. G2A did not do what they asked.
Out of the 282 steam games I own I've bought 14 games from G2A over the years without issue, however, I've deleted my account and won't be using them again. Cheers for the info guys. :)

Okay it's not a game but this utility program on steam is superb and for .69p you can't really go wrong.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/388080 'Borderless Gaming' it makes 99% of all games whether they run on Steam, Origin, Uplay or whatever run full screen borderless meaning games that hate you alt-tabbing are no longer a problem.

If you have two monitors this is brilliant.
